How difficult would it be to draw up some sort of blanket policy on school closures and weather warnings...

It seems like they are constantly surprised and the last to know that there might be a bit of wind today.

The namimg of Storm Bram is a nod to Bram Stoker, the author of the original Dracula novel, who hailed from Clontarf, which ironically is getting hit by the storm's orange wind warning.

In my 50s now. Sick of this weather tbh, feels like the longest winter imo. I'm showering the dogs every day of the week after their park run , completely clabbered . Roll on May / June for the long evenings. It's the feckin wind too on top of the rain , fierce cold

Spring last year was pretty dry march and april especially. So hopefully there won't be much rain left.
