If Ireland never compete again , I'd be quite happy . It is a load of shit anyway, but  it's the principal of the thing.

I'd say there's a fair  chance Ireland will boycott it  from now on , as I doubt they'll ever have  the balls to kick Israel out. So be it . Hopefully the whole  freak show  falls apart due to lack of participants

Let's be honest, it's an easy action for Ireland. There is overwhelming support for Palestine, people aren't that overly interested in the contest anymore. So it's a simple opportunity to make a stand without too much cost. Absolutely the right decision and would love to see a few more withdraw to really put the pressure on the organisers.
