Not really a car post but connected to a small car accident a family member was involved in recently.
It was her fault she collided with another car in a slow moving incident which led to damage to both cars. She is 18 years old and still innocent enough wee girl. When the guy got out of the other car , before she got a chance to apologise, he states 'you've just hit the wrong guy, I'm a solicitor. She owns up immediately while he proceeds to take photos of his damage. ( fair enough) he then asked for her phone which she in a state of innocence hands him. She wouldn't have known not to. He punches in his number and when he hands the phone back she saw that the name he had attached to the number was 'The guy I hit'
The wee girl was in a state at this and was in tears all evening. First time she had ever come across an obnoxious SOB like this
Can this sort of behaviour be reported to the law society. Surely a solicitor can't run about using his profession to intimidate the life out of people especially young ones like my family member

Sounds like a right ballbag. Report him anyway even if it comes to nothing.

You can report them to Law Society of NI, dont think theyd like their name in paper engaging in such behaviour.

I would make a point of doing it in fact as its guaranteed not his first rodeo. Bet others experienced it and didnt bother reporting or werent aware etc.

Jim Bob

Thanks for replies.
The thing that really annoyed me was the phone insert 'The guy I hit' cheeky b@@@@@@@

Tony Baloney

Be sure to PM us his name. Just to confirm it's not BC1.

Jim Bob

😹😹 it was not BC1 I can confirm!!

Is he even a solicitor? Do  you have his details?

Maybe he's just a dick trying to  intimidate a young girl?

Sounds like a tool alright. Bullying a young girl.

I bet if it was a lad, he wouldn't have said boo to him.

If there's no Ombusman for solicitors, get another solicitor to email his company and complain about his aggressive behaviour.

He is a solicitor alright. On FB too.
I found him online today and know the firm he works for

Needless to say the slight damage is coming in at 6 grand. She's insured though but her premium next year is going to hit her big time

DaleCooper

If this was a movie Jim Bob would blackmail the solicitor with negative tabloid headlines/Law society complaint and get the issue put to bed....if this was a movie of course.

What a rat. If it's any consolation, his insurance premium will likely go up as well

Imagine someone was to bump into him at the weekend and give him a taste of his own medicine, would be terrible wouldn't it
