I tell you what might be interesting, should an economist try to measure the financial benefits to the Royal British Legion, of having James McClean freely available every year to generate eons of publicity and help "gullible" British people to remember their cause.

I'd say that anyone's experience of being in an actual war is horrific, and those that romanticize from afar will probably be more vocal about doing stuff like a charity than actually signing up.. Ray from Doncaster though hasn't much options..
