Eamon mccann is a very good appointment to the backroom. I'm very optimistic about the way this is shaping up. Hopefully we are in for a positive year for the County trajectory

Quote from: YoungSaff on October 21, 2025, 11:08:23 AMIs Dunloy v Newbridge and Moneyglass V Glenullin a double header next week?

yes@Celtic Park Saturday 1st Nov
Intermediete @ 3.45
Senior @ 6.00

Owenbeg would have suited and probably would have headed up if it was a Sunday 2pm job, not sure now

Be interesting to see how Dunloy adapt, plenty of Derry knowledge in their camp so ya never know, Newbridge probably won't allow too much space for the Elliots, Molloy and Cunning to get on the ball

Moved to owenbeg, same times same day.

Was at St John's and St Galls game. Was really disappointed with St John's. Weather was atrocious for football but St John's didn't look like they had any ideas at all. St Galls looked astute and had purpose to their play.

Is Portglenone too young or is that a really disappointing result for them? That Aghagallon team good?

St Brigid's game conceded. They'd be my favourites but Cargin racked up a good score too.

4 years since Marys picked up minor championship , I think that was u17 so that team if it has held together might be expected to do well (they certainly brought a couple through to senior)

Cargin have the track record of integrating their younger lads coming out of minor into reserves and 3rds and some into senior panel to a greater extent than Brigids - for this age grade having been playing regular football is arguably the most important thing rather than what has been done by players before.

What I've no view on is are any of the clubs men rigging out for colleges and any clashes there.

Wishful thinking on the part of those posters more than any footballing knowledge me thinks

The football knowledge seemed to come alright in the end pal.
