The training pitches behind the stadium are brutal at the moment

I think the main pitch at Owenbeg is a lot better now after the recent work they did to it than it would have been a few years ago. I'd imagine it will hold up fine.

Steelstown v Newbridge      N'Bridge-8

I agree with all but the Slaugtneil v Lavey prediction. From what I've seen from both teams, Lavey could pull a surprise here Either way, I doubt there will be anything like 10 points in this game.

Yeah. It gets no real abuse from April to late August so can hold the games ok.

Well drained now and even with 4 games and bad weather, it seems to hold up well.

Atmosphere mightn't be great there but smaller crowd in a bigger stadium is the problem.

Derry have great facilities in Owenbeg.

Another extra time cracker in Celtic Park tonight, fancied Craigbane for the upset of the Intermediate round and they came so close

Limavady will certainly be hoping Oran Hartin is back in goals for the semi final. John Deighan named on the bench when did he last play for Limavady?

Heard hes out for the year, big loss

Thought Bellaghy would have quite abit more in them, Charlie Diamond the only notable man out there. Dan Higgins has pushed on tremendously this year, Magherafelt look very fluid

Just home from another couple of dead stinkers of matches, with two teams in the semi finals can anyone remember a worse Senior club championship.
Hasn't been one game of note.

Jack Doherty showing again what a boost he would be for Derry if he would commit, Magherafelt very impressive Conor Murphy looks really sharp  Conal &Dan Higgins and  Michael McEvoy were also good

I thought Michael McEvoy was good too  ;D
So was Cormac Murphy.

Wildweasel74

Commit? He committed plenty of times and never once played at his best position No.11.Gallagher barely played him,

Can't stream the Lavey Slaughtneil game on tg4 due to my location, its happening 20 minutes up the road, when will this madness be sorted out

Wildweasel74

Not many at it, looks a poor crowd  showing on tv, Game should been at the Glen, been alot more at it.

Wildweasel74

Who covering nets for Lavey, as O'Boyle spending his time as a 3rd midfielder
