Not much excitement for the neutral. Bellaghy really took off in the second half, but still some issues in defence. Stuart not too hot today. Newbridge looked slick when they eventually got going.

Thought we were in for a rip roaring 2nd half when Vale got those early scores and how they'd fought back against Steelstown but they had so many poor shot selections and running into dead ends

Every single game was as poor quality as I've seen in a long time and when you see the next round draw theres 3 of them games could end fairly similar.

Owenbeg for a great setting has to one of the most lifeless venues about. Its like a trip to Ballymena theres that many places to spend a few pound.

Banagher v Dungiven was the only close game and it really only came alive in the last 10 minutes. The Lavey v Kilrea game was probably the worst championship game that I've been at in manys a year.

Have to agree with that, 1 poor team with a forward and 1 team with absolutely nothing to offer or even a plan.
