Are Antrim really at this low an ebb?

This man has been run out of Donegal,
Loup, Newbridge, Mayobridge and Derrylaughan in recent years.

It's well known he has been ringing around clubs across Ulster in the last 12 months begging for a job.

We have no shame it seems.

Did he not last the season with these clubs?

referee

I think he lasted a month or so with Derrylaughan in Tyrone at the beginning off this season,

Paddy B. isn't in contention. A few names in the hat and people still being approached/ declaring interest. Madden & Brady (joint ticket), Conleth Gilligan, Philly McMahon all either contacted or have contacted the CB.

Duine Inteacht Eile

Is there a job in the country that Philly McMahon isn't linked to?
He carries around an impressive managerial portfolio though.

He'd need to bring in some impressive footballers too
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Take the Mark

Difficult to see how McMahon would be interested given that he turned down the Derry job last year.

Is the Paul Rouse that's been touted as part of his backroom team, the Paul Rouse that's also been chased from every club he's been at. Spoke to a few lads that have played under him over the years, car crash stuff.

I believe he asked for more time to assemble his backroom staff and Doire moved on without him. Hi Da is a West Belfast man so there is a connection there but whether or not he has the managerial experience to step straight in to County management is another question.

BigGreenField

A novice on a nostalgia trip.

Whoever is appointed needs current knowledge of players within the county either directly or within their coaching group rather than taking a year or more to work that out.

Any update on the full time Operations gig being appointed?

Hectic

Right people on the back room team will soon plug any knowledge gaps.

Would be interested in seeing Brady's view, respected in Antrim and seeing as he has had some success.   Mcmahon is a complete unknown.

Madden, Bradley, Rouse and the rest are proven snake oil salesmen and journeymen looking a quick buck.

Yeah agree with every word. Beware of snake oil salesmen. Antrim should aim higher than this lot.
