His driving and putting have been pretty rubbish today unfortunately

Anyone been down. Going Saturday and would appreciate a plan that would help reduce waiting, overpaying and hitting good spots. Any tactics at all really

Was down today. Queueing to get in was a bit of a shitshow. The queue to the right-hand side of the bag check queues was far faster so I'd recommend trying it. the far right queue is VIP or No Bags so it's the one just inside that one.

The grandstand at 11 is a good sweetspot covering a few greens and fairways - I only know this as got chatting to a fella and he told us it was great. The queues following Rory, and Shane to a lesser extent, are a real ballache unsurprisingly. I know they are a big draw but be prepared for it. We spent the day playing chess by being a couple of holes ahead of groups of interest so could nab a good spot. It's a great day out but it's a far from ideal way to watch golf!

The all important prices. £17.50 for 2 pints. The Guinness in a plastic glass was surprisingly decent enough. Most food options are £14.50 for something with chips - scampi, burger, chicken, hot dog etc. The options at the refreshment hub or whatever it is called were better up near the 4th (top right on your map). The one over near 15 etc. wasn't great imo.

Fairway crossings were mostly okay in the first part of the day but when in proximity to McIlroy they were hard work as there was just so many people crammed into a small area.

Bit to go obviously but Scheffler looks like he is just warming up

trileacman

Jesus anyone but Scheffler. I would like to see the trophy go to someone, who you know, actually likes golf.

Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

He said something they probably all think, it's a job & his family is more important. Obviously easy to say when you are worth as much as he is

Enjoyed that interview to be fair an interesting perspective from someone at the top of the game. He is a Christian so he's hardly going to go on the rip for a month.

Fitzpatrick looks to top form and Harmon is well suited to the links

Not sure I'd find that terribly interesting either...

Agree. You'd never find Christians going on the rip at all at all. Feckin Christians.

Let the winner be anyone but Harman, Sheffler or LIV golfers.

I see Shane got a 2 shot penalty for the ball falling into a worser position 😐
