Never heard of him before today either. All over FB feed today. Glad I hadnt.. if that's comedy.. jees!
Heard wat he said.. seemed reasonable enough, doing his utmost not to appear racist. He wasn't cancelled tho.. he jumped. Maybe needs to develop a thicker skin if he's going to wade into that debate...

If you read up about him he spent much of his youth indoors avoiding people because of panic attacks, anxiety & agoraphobia. He's never going to be a thicked skin type.

It all got a bit personal. And sure if you voice concerns about immigration - sure you are a Racist. There is no middle ground anymore. That's the way to deal with those Racists shut them up mafia style.

The reality is that with social media, you'll always have someone who'll argue with you. Doesn't matter if you say the sun is yellow. Someone will argue the opposite. And that's across the board left, right centre. If you're going to be on SM you have to accept that and either ignore or engage and fight your corner. If you can't do that, not sure SM is best place for ya. You'll always end up wound up.
I actually enjoyed his posts. Didn't see the posts that were the cause of this, but I'd say he'll suffer a fair drop in income if he stays off.

Believe he was doxxed and got threats via private messages on TikTok.. So for a fella with issues with anxiety etc in the past it was going to affect him differently to us arseholes on the GAABoard.

Have listened to yer man's speech a number of times... am not convinced it wasn't a dog whistle to the far right... a lot of it very subtle. "Our towns especially our cities are becoming much less safe, that's not just because of immigration..." tries to equivocate everything he says to stay on the right side of not being racist. He does sort of manage it tho! Hard to know wat the fuc he's trying to say... the abuse and shutting himself down has given his speech some traction!

How is that related to politicians banning puberty blockers from trans community. The politicians are imposing their view and denying a choice, a choice that is still available in south.

It's related to someone with mental health issues that now realises they made the wrong choice.

He's hardly alone there, the Cass report confirmed what people have been saying for years, in many cases a mental health assessment would have been the forst port of call.
