They were never going to knuckle down to retain Sam in 2025.

Yes Rian is off the panel at the minute.

Although I can see him coming back towards the end of the league and business end of the championship.

Let the lad do his thing and blow off a bit of steam, then reel him back in.

And it has no relation to the Miami incident as far as im aware. I think he was 'missing' a few saturday/sunday morning training sessions due to extra curricular activities.

Blow of abit of steam? He not do a spin in rehab [sorry injured last year). About time his older brother and a few older heads on the team rein him in abit, County careers are short enough these days. And he's too good a footballer to not instill abit of discipline in the lad.

Probably needs a break from all the chaos and demands that come with being a high profile player on an AI winning team.

Reading Anthony Molloy's book at the moment. He was completely burnt out by the circus that followed the 1992 win, although in fairness he was the captain and so subject to a bit more expectancy and demand from the Donegal public and diaspora.

Did Armagh get a phone call from Jarlath Burns telling them to drop him because he wasn't a good boy?
