Liverpool could have a bad week, drop points twice and end up neck in neck with Chelsea and/or Arsenal. My worry is they are gonna end up in 4 tournaments like last year and burn out at Easter.

ONeill

Bar Liverpool, there's no one playing convincingly well. It'll be interesting if Pool can keep this form going. I watched a bit of the Leicester game and they're playing a different game to the others at the top. Exciting to watch. At times they had more in the opposition box than out of it.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

I admire your honesty of calling things as they are and imagine the harmony if all Liverpool's posters on here did the same?

Liverpool are the only consistent team in the league this season  Nottingham Forest are potentially one win away from leapfrogging the current main "challengers" Arsenal,Chelsea.  Manchester City would have been the only serious challenger to Liverpool this season and instead they had a total meltdown which ended their title hopes a month ago.

Those who do the analysts have Liverpool winning the title currently at 88% and give it another few matches where the so called challengers stumble further it will get closer to 100%.

Was mentioned on here a couple of times the last 6 months that Saka was being run into the ground, I hope the league cup wins v Bolton and Preston was worth it for Arteta 🤡

Look-Up!

:D  :D How does the data work without knowing squad availability for rest of season.

Arsenal will need a change of tack, Saka injury potentially catastrophic. Still wouldn't rule them out but some very inconsistent performers would need to change their spots. But I think they will need to pull a rabbit out of the transfer window and Liverpool hit an injury crisis for them to finish above the reds. Chelsea probably the better bet at this stage.

Arsenal have only 7 draws this season - The Invincible's had 12 draws in a season and still won the League. There is nothing to panic about.  ;D

statto

Hard to believe Arsenal on same points as last year, last year's version was far superior to me. Outside of set pieces they don't look threatening at all. Odegaard has been disappointing since return from injury will need to step up in Saka absence.

Are you sure?

Ah, in fairness you keep the Utd flag flying here, it's not easy and it is admiral that you do.

I'm 53, I've seen the worst of teams and the best of teams..

Every dog has its day, the traditional teams always have their run, that's how it works in b most team sports.

One thing in life is true, always be nice to the people on the way up, as ya might need them on the way down, but enjoy the moment

Arsenal might end up bridesmaids again this year, some people might get irate, others might realise thems the breaks. While Arteta has his virtues there can be little sympathy, running Saka into the ground and playing Partay at right back is pure Dodo 🦤

Who would you have played at right back?

I'm supporting Arsenal 35 years and I've seen decisions go against Arsenal that have never happened against anyone before or since.

Have you ever seen a penalty like today before?

Ever see a red card like Rice earlier this season? Incidentally his only red card ever.

Van Persie versus Barcelona.

Xhaka versus Swansea?

Xhaka getting a yellow for his first foul and referee telling him it's his third.

Martinelli two yellows in one move.

Luiz for running.

Arsenal getting two points deducted as opposed to Uniteds one.

Graham only manager ever called out for under the table payments.

A post like this could only ever be posted in the wee small hours when the last 35 years are keeping you up at night.
