Down drawn away to Fermanagh in 2025 Ulster championship, winners play Derry/Donegal/Monaghan in semis.

Has anyone else had issues with Downgaa TV this year. Seems like even with over 200mb speeds, the stream will always buffer and rarely fix itself. You have to manually change the video quality to a lower quality for a while then change it back to higher quality. Rince and repeat. Feels like they've changed something this year and it's made the streams worse

A great day of drinking and chatting before tomorrow's turning point in the Kilcoo onslaught of Down football. Talking to a few stalwarts of Down football and they're all agreed that Burren win this by 5+ points. Kilcoo will get a red card early and hopefully Moore from CPN will do us a favour the way Darren did for them a couple of years ago. Not that we'll need a favour. Would just turn a 1/2pt win in to a more comfortable watch! Odhran player of the match and Ronan McGrath x Ryan Treanor to be close behind him. The torch is about to be passed. Burren for Ulster in my opinion. Magpies aren't what they were, heard it here first folks.

Yes it has been very poor. In particular the games outside of Newry. Games in Liatroim Mayobridge etc all poor.

On the other side of this, there was a good crowd at intermediate final this evening, wouldn't a capacity Crowd at the county ground for a double header be a much better atmosphere for county finals

Must have been some drink taken alright. Relying on favours from the ref doesn't exactly show confidence in the team to do it on merit either.

As soft as some of the frees were, Kilcoo are still much the better team. Hard to see Burren getting back in to it, they have been awful going forward.

yes would agree very toothless up front Liam kerr, magill and Murdock would need huge second half if going have any chance.

Kilcoo are a better team than Burren, Burrens main men hide against kilcoo (Murdock, Magill & Kerr). However lt still has to be said that Micheal Moore is a poor quality referee who never played the game at any level and is certainly swayed by teams, supporters and sidelines. He has had one to many poor games. Poor final so far one score from play is it in first half? Burren very poor going forward, Dabs probably deserved a card for the boot out considering what else cards have come out for. Dont think there is any question on the result here though

Everything that's wrong with football on exhibit in Newry today.

Square Ball

So Burren scored their 2nd point in the 7th minute, and their 3 in the 51st, Kilcoo doing what Kilcoo do.

Quoting myself.

The most accomplished person (including the ref) on the field today by a distance is Paddy Burns.

For reference, while he is effective, he's also the least technically blessed player on the Armagh panel.

That's as poor as Kilcoo can play but they won the game by reputation before it started.

Football is a mess.

Is there any room in the Burren backroom team budget for a psychiatrist? Won't get anywhere when they can't get Kilcoo out of their heads and learn to play their own game.

Jet2

Are all kilcoo players required to partake in amature dramatics before they get a spot on the club panel or does it just come naturally? My 3 year old has taken harder knocks to his balls  lol

It certainly is a worry when that Kilcoo team is winning our championship. They are nowhere near the standard they where when they won the All Ireland and its a poor reflection that other teams even beat them where they are now but still credit to them they are top team in the county. One thing thats learned today for sure is the Michael Moore is a poor ref and that Burrens so called big players are not in fact big game players. As bad of 60 mins of forward play I have seen. Poor Final for the neutral unfortunately
