55 years ago. Is there anything that was done 55 years ago and we haven't done it since or we don't do it today?
Has to be the biggest con job ever. Ruined Armstrong and Aldrin's lives. Their interviews after were sketchy, fearful, cryptic and uncomfortable.

The Space race was not a waste of time/money as it helped advance technology. design and pushed boundaries.
The Yanks realised near the end of the 60's that Kennedy's assertation that putting a man on the moon in a decade was unattainable - so plan B had to be implemented to justify the money and to stay ahead of the Russians.
