He had a fall out with screen a few years ago did he not? Then started refereeing for Lavey instead?

I find him the most unlikable ref of the lot, although I don't know him away from the pitch.

Here I go to alot of league games, and the amount of abuse they take from team supporters and even team management is pathetic. Alot of rules are beyond everyday supporters,  especially the advantage rule. Not one of them would take up reffing. Very easy to give out abuse but they wouldn't do the job to take the abuse themselves.
