Would love to know their secret!

Of the 4  teams that qualify in third place , is there a draw  as to which team they play next?

England are due to play a 3rd  place team , so how and when are their opponents   decided?

NAG1

I heard this morning that unless there is a mad result in the games today it is going to Holland for England.

Not 100% with this but it's the top team of the 3rd place teams in your draw.  Spain for example will play the top 3rd place team from groups A, D, E or F.  They will not play a 3rd place team from groups B or C.  Why is this the case, I don't know but I'm sure there's sone science behind it

No it's pre-determined.  It's just you'd need a PhD in quantum physics to work it out.  Eng will play either Holland or the team that finishes 3rd in Belgium's group.  At the moment that could be any of them.  (From the BBC) Data Analysts Nielsen Gracenote have the likelihood of England's opponents as:

61% Netherlands
16% Slovakia
11% Ukraine
8% Romania
4% Belgium

Holland haven't been up to much, but they're a more attacking side than most, so it should be a more open game.  They are always able to throw on big Weghorst in the last 10 if they need a goal.

So England are due to meet the best 3rd placed team in groups D, E or F.  Holland currently occupy that spot as they have the most points of those 3.
Group F has Turkey and Czechs I think it is and a 3rd place team cannot finish with 4 points to better the Dutch.
That leaves the group with Belgium.  I fancy them to win which will leave them with 6 points and probably top of the group.  Their opponents the Ukraine coukd finish bottom or 3rd on 3 points.  The tricky bit is if the other game is a draw.  2nd and 3rd would have 4 pts, the same number as the Dutch.  Then I think it's goal difference.  The Dutch goal difference is zero.  Complicating things further the 3rd place team here coukd also be zero.
I'll leave it at that but in a sick way, I enjoy that sh1t

Southgate faces a few big decisions but he hasn't shown the toy dolls to do that to date.

He needs to drop Bellingham and Kane, stick Foden in centrally with Watkins, Gordon out on the left and Palmer on the right for Sakha.

Maino will indeed start the next game and rightly so alongside Rice.

Trippier is dodgy enough but the other three at the back have held their own to date.

Romania and Slovakia draw, they both get through.  Watch out for a bit of Tom fullery

Jell 0 Biafra

Oh, hadn't realized that.  I guess I'll watch Lukaku Vs. VAR so.

Look-Up!

England are stumbling along, have a lucky enough draw so I doubt they'll change much. Yesterday was the time for changing it up and trying something different but he backed out.

Despite the backlash from some fans, it's a results business, and once they keep progressing the narrative will suit accordingly. The stars do seem to be aligning for them as far as path difficulty goes, and if they can up it a bit, a lot of the hard work will be done for them other side of the draw. And who knows, they might get "lucky" with injury and be forced into a system that actually ignites a spark for them. I wouldn't rule out the olde knighthood yet for mr boring.

Belgium wearing a  strip in homage to  Tin Tin apparently .

Scotland should design one  in homage to Rab C Nesbitt. They certainly played   like him in the group  stage

From what I've seen of Gordon I'm not convinced he's anything other than ordinary
