Anyone who leaves Canavan out is a troll.

Well I had Gooch, Matt Connor and Mikey Sheehy instead of Canavan and I don't think anyone could accuse that of trolling.
Obviously some people think Canavan was better than them but surely nobody could think he was so far better than Gooch, Connor and Sheehy that it's trolling not to include him?
I reckon most people would admit there's very thin lines in a lot of their picks e.g. I could easily have Egan, Joyce, Canavan instead of Gooch, Connor, Sheehy or D O Se and A Tohill instead of J O Shea and B Mullins.

+1 would be quite easy to pick another team of equal quality...it's just the mood you're in at a particular moment in time. Bit like your favourite movies or music.

All of this is nice, but Canavan was better than the Gooch.

Up The Middle

I have watched a good few games back where O'Connell played and i just cant for the life of me see how he makes any of these teams, he just gets it and hoofs it as hard as he can, there was zero skill to anything he did, he was a tough nut alright, but does that make him a great player.... Sean Og De Paor was surely a better player
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Well a couple of them would club you to within an inch of your life if that's what you mean.

more than a couple of them :-)
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

I ed a lot of my football in corner forward, and Ryan McMenamin always struck me as a corner back I was glad I never had to face. Quick, aggressive, buzzing around like a wasp. Scullion was great, but I think McMenamin probably shut down most forwards he played against.

there's tens of players that probably should be on this.

He is, was and always be a ****!!!!

Scullion was twice the player anf twice the man that tr**p could ever be!
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

No prince of corner-backs, Lar? Harry Keegan really deserves more recognition than he gets nationally.

And don't be moving poor Dermot around to accommodate those Kerry yokes!

Is that Colin Cooper who played corner forward for Valley Rovers juniors for 2 years before emigrating to San Fran? A good footballer no doubt but a surprise inclusion in any mans dream team!

My team is from early to mid 90s to present, possibly some Northern bias in it but I probably seen these boys play more often.

3 Galway players in it, mainly for the fact that I loved watching them in full flow..

Murphy is still quite young but what a talent!

Quite an attack minded defence but sure the game has gone that way now.

No it's the English international lad who played for Forest and Middlesboro and current Hartlepool United Manager! :P

Ohtoohtobe

Surprised to see so much of Martin O'Connell in the backs and so little of Brian McGuigan in the forwards.
Maybe I'm over-rating McGuigan but I don't think so. In 2005 he was as close to perfection as it gets for a centre forward.
