[. The round two possible opponents are Kerry,Donegal/Tyrone,Kildare/Dublin bigger tests than any team in round one.

Gettin a biteen ahead of yourself me good man.
Actually i am. I don't think Dublin or Kildare will be in round two, Armagh could play one of them in round 4.

Those joining in R2 will be Kerry,Limerick,Galway,Leitrim,Wexford,Meath,Monaghan & Donegal/Tyrone. That's when the fun will start. In the other pot will be Tipp,Laois,Westmeath,Cavan,Longford,Armagh,Antrim & Wicklow.

Wouldn't rule out London they did beat Fermanagh last year.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Tough draw for Armagh. Need to be at our very best to beat  these  hardy perennial  Connacht challengers. Revenge for last years minor defeat will be difficult to execute, though not impossible.

Not sure how winning a senior game will gain revenge for a minor defeat? We beat Tipp this year did nothing to wipe out the minor semi final defeat.
Just trying to get some sort of edge, perhaps I should of mentioned the 1980 senior semi final? :P
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

No that was our revenge for 1977 semi final defeat.
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

Both teams have flattered at times over the last few years, mixing good football with insane football. It feels like the counties have mirrored each other in alot of ways, under-age and club success creating good foundations that have yet to be fully realised at senior level.

Captain Obvious

You may have a point on underage level however at senior level the last few years Armagh have been a Division one,two team Roscommon have been Division three, four team how is that mirroring each other?

Won't need to reschedule the minor semi final If we defeat Leitrim now.

Some decent matches in prospect, have to say the tie of the round involves my own county at home to Derry. If its half as good a game as 2006 then will be in for a treat, as long as we're on the right side of the result!

Hope the lads can bounce back and use home advantage to their favour...be a good test and might be better getting a tight win that a hiding by the Dubs in the Leinster semi final....

Any game live on TV? Getting fed up watching the euros.

Donegal v Tyrone is on at 4.30pm earlier in the day so I wouldn't be too sure any of them are live, though you never know
