The Basel adventure came to crashing halt tonight. I still say fair fcuks to them they qualified instead of under performing United & managed to beat Bayern at home, i hope that defeat tonight doesn't hit them to hard as they are a good footballing side/club but in truth after that result punching above their weight springs to mind. Are Bayern good enough to challenge Barca,Real now? they could have home advantage if they reach the final.

Inter knocked out early for the 2nd year in a row v opponent they were expected to beat, how they have fallen from the 2010 success.
The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

That was some performance by Bayern. Everything went right for them. Will the Rossies ever reach that level in the fuball?

With John Terry in charge they should fear no-one, by all accounts he has a plan to beat Barca home and away.

Madrid v Barca final it is so.

Bayern would be in with a decent shout against Madrid IMO. Plus the motivation of a final on their home ground.
