Carrickmore v Donaghmore- Carmen by 5- Always the same story with Donaghmore: plenty of noise, plenty of confidence, then when it comes to the big moments... nowhere to be seen.

Carrickmore to put them back in their box and leave them with the usual "we should have won that" speech.

From thinking ye were too big for Tyrone football to fighting for survival — that's some fall. Now ye're back trying to convince everyone Loughmacrory should be worried.

Errigal v trillick- Errigal by 3- Trillick have been living off their reputation so long you'd swear the county title was still sitting in the clubhouse. Aye lads, we remember. Everyone remembers. The problem is nobody's handing out medals for nostalgia. Errigal to bring them back to reality and leave Trillick with another story about how good they used to be.

Officially confirmed after the Loughmacrory game tonight — Galbally have won the appeal, with the replay set for Monday night at 7:30pm in Healy Park. Absolute disgrace. After the original decision was made on the pitch, the whole situation leaves a seriously sour taste. Martin Conroy has bottled it — a cowardly decision that makes a mockery of the original call. If you're going to make a decision on the pitch, at least have the courage to stand over it. Fair play to Galbally for getting their second bite at the cherry, but what a way to go about it.

There's no denying some Tyrone supporters were frustrated — every county has that when things aren't clicking. But that actually proves the point: people were too quick to write them off, including plenty who are now acting like the Armagh game was obvious.

As for the AI favourites, they're called favourites for a reason — it's a prediction, not a result. Football isn't played by rankings or opinions online. Tyrone have already shown they can go into difficult places and beat highly-rated teams, so pretending they have no chance is just poor analysis.

And the Malachy O'Rourke point? That happens in every county. A few bad performances and suddenly everyone wants a new manager; a few big results and the same people change their tune.

The reality is Tyrone are still standing when plenty of other teams aren't. If people want to keep underestimating them, that's fine — they've been doing it for years and Tyrone have a habit of making them look foolish.

Tyrone could draw Westmeath, Monaghan or Meath in a quarter-final and I'd back Tyrone every single time. There's no reason to fear anyone with the inconsistency Armagh and Donegal have shown — if either of them are waiting in a semi-final, Tyrone will fancy their chances.

People seem to have very short memories. Not long ago, Tyrone went into Donegal's own backyard, were written off by plenty, and came away with the win. This so-called "worst team left" Tyrone also pushed Armagh all the way to extra time in the Athletic Grounds this year.

Count Tyrone out if you want — but history has a habit of proving the doubters wrong.

Meath v Mayo- Meath by 2 after extra time

Louth v Kerry 6pm Saturday

Tyrone v Meath 2pm Sunday
Galway v Donegal 4pm Sunday

Going against the grain as Tyrone usually get the Saturday games in Croker.

Tyrone to win it.
Expect few changes before throw in.
Pressure on Armagh to win it, Tyrone won't be phased by the media etc.
Tyrone always have and always will be a championship team.
Statement for the season ahead be out by 6 o'clock Sunday evening.

People can keep buying into the hype around Armagh all they want, but it says more about wishful thinking than reality. They're being talked up like contenders off the back of moments, not substance. Tyrone, on the other hand, actually know how to win when it matters — and when the pressure hits, Armagh won't just lose, they'll be found out.
