Re: Tyrone leagues.

On this thread all the time is talk of relegation.

A very negative mindset. Top of league/winners never hardly mentioned.

Strange.

It is more value to talk about the likes of derrylaughan, kildress, rock, fianna, Dungannon and omagh possibly going down than newton or Eglish winning the league.

The old saying goes nobody cares or remembers the league winners in Tyrone, only the championship

Fianna up and down, omagh have been looking at the trap door for few years. Kildress are ladies club, makes sense.

Teams are either resting players for championship or handing out points at this time of the year. Derrylaughan at the weekend for example, could be pulled in to the drop battle because of it. Will be twists and turns yet in Division 1 and 2

Would be my favourites for the intermediate championship

They need to get the team fit to play before worrying about championship. D2 championship be the hardest to predict this year

Greencastle some win away in armagh last night. Pomeroy beat again. They would have fancied themselves to go straight back at the start of the year, now they may worry about staying up

Some big results at the weekend. Are dungannon in trouble? Errigal?

The donegal outfit in D2 with an important win against kileeshil. Few teams in bad need of the break. Kildress may start fielding the ladies theyd have a better chance of staying up

few men on here thought i was mad saying Naomh Eoghan would give a rattle this year.

Few CNG lads on there, won't help their ability to field (Hence they requested 13 aside)

Don't think its a good look f@@king away to the states when your club is in actual dire straits, literally about to fold! Come back with a tan but no club to play for... Doesn't make sense to me.

By all accounts the lads that are away to the states were trying to transfer to Steelstown or Owen roes but club wouldnt approve it

With the league due to take a break anyway do we think we will see our county stars fielding for the club or will they enjoy a longer break than their clubmates and come back in a fortnights time for league games coming thick and fast?

Who do you see getting the biggest bounce from their county men?

Think most players will be glad to get back to the club, especially the men that didnt get much football. Teams like edendork, errigal etc need them back asap so id say theyll all be playing on friday night.

Heard reports that one club went behind a managers back and approached someone else but they refused, not a nice move that if true

Very early for Ardboe to be looking at new management.

Fairplay Gael if that's who it was for I'm sickened with speculation posts this last while.

Wasn't ardboe i heard of now its a team in division two, didn't want to put it out just incase its false
