Quote from: square_ball on May 26, 2024, 10:15:01 PMDidn't know fleadhs and weddings were grounds to have games called off.

should have been played before the original fixture not weeks later. Somebody has pulled a fly one.

Don't think Thursday suited either with players away working etc.

The Fleadh required a huge number of volunteers particularly from the club for stewarding etc there was no way you could have had a game either yesterday or today.

Greencastle wedding on Friday and the Tyrone Fleadh is in Fintona this weekend.

As somebody from the Fintona area but not connected to the club, I'm just as embarrassed and outraged by the videos of players/management/parents surrounding the referee as I am about the other incident. Who in their right mind would want to be a referee in the current climate?

The worrying thing about today is that most people I've spoken to has started off the conversation by saying 'the ref was poor' or 'the referee gave Fintona nothing' as if to try and half justify what was going on at the final whistle - the completely wrong attitude. If any of my children approached a referee like some of the players did last night, I'd be putting a ban on them myself, never mind about the county board. Parents need to step up and do better.

I headed to Croke Park on Saturday knowing it was going to be a tough ask but expecting to make Kerry work hard for it if they were to win. Such a shocking performance from the boys, sitting in the stand it came across as a real lack of fight and desire. I know Logan & Dooher are getting the brunt of the blame but I think there's a real softness and attitude problem with some of those players that need weeded out.

As others have mentioned, alot of Armagh supporters made a complete show of themselves. The bus to Drumcondra was full of idiots half-tanked dishing out abuse to anyone wearing a Tyrone top in front of families with young children. Says it all about these idiots that one of them asked me then was this the stop to get off for Croke Park. Kerry supporters around me in the stadium were actually mortified for them as the match neared the end and were far more classy.
