Junior - Fancy a gutsy Drumragh to dig deep to get the win. Cookstown looked really poor in that 1st half. Drumragh should have had 4/5 goals. The industrious Eoin Montgrumity and Niall McKarney in midfield will no doubt need to be at their best if Drumragh are to get through.
Just to add- thought Bell had a good game on the whistle - bar the 2pt free - which was umpires call.

Senior

Lough v Carrickmore- Can see a classic here. Cathal Donaghy, E McIlhome and Rooster Mccullagh to shoot the lights out. Lough by 2. Hear Munroe niggled the hamstring in the hurling - not good.

Trillick v Errigal - Could see a big win for Errigal. No Trillick defenders will be fit for the Canavans. Big McCaughey and Robinson will be a good tussle. 2 Old School men going ding dust. Errigal by 7-8.

The LGFA are clueless just to add. Happy Thursday everyone

Drumragh FF Line was very sharp too I thought - not often in junior you see 3 inside forwards as rampant as they where. They need to continue or do an even better job on Conal Sheehy and also try and stifle the Polish lad as when those 2 got going Cookstown looked like a different outfit. Also Michael McElhatton needs to increase his conversion rate.

I would agree on Bell that he wasn't too bad. I felt like he did turn for Cookstown at the start of the second half and I see a lot of referees doing this recently I think its like an unconscious bias for the favourite - Maybe a workshop for the Tyrone Refs on this in the off season! On the 2 pointer he should have called it himself as it was clear the umpire was in deep trouble and hadn't seen it properly.

God help me I don't know what way to turn for the Lough v Carmen Semi. :D Should be a good game!

Expect Errigal to beat Trillick!

I was walking behind the goals after half time it was 100% a point. The umpire on that post didn't see it was very confused was asking the other umpire who was telling him he didn't know. Then he just waved it wide.

Ref would have had a good view of it but left it to his umpire who was in difficulty. He seemed to turn toward Cookstown in 2nd half some soft ones for them that built there momentum.

Great game for junior. Drumragh the sharper team for the majority but Cookstown built momentum in the 2nd half.

Thought Kildress gave Clonoe plenty to think about throughout the game. Too wasteful in 1st half but where right in it until the ref gave some very questionable decisions to Clonoe in the 3rd quarter when we had it back to 3/4 theses decisions resulted in 5 more points for Clonoe and the game was gone.

Clonoe very physical team and will take a lot of stopping.

Eglish vs Owen roes: Eglish- they win the championship imo.
Beragh vs aghaloo: beragh, easy win again for them.
Moy vs rock: rock- going for an upset here, 2 point shootout between Murphy and conroy.
Kildress vs Clonoe: draw- this could be a clinker. Call me mad for this but I can just see it.

You are mad

We are very much up against it tomorrow night but I Believe in our players to put in a big performance.

I see a lot of kids from Kildress have gotten on to the board and are mentioning nonsense footballers which doesn't help creditability.

Will clonoe win? most likely. Are we a proud club that can put it up to them... definitely.

The one thing I would say about our players - no matter what the result is tomorrow we as a club believe in them and the way they have handled themselves over the last 2 years- they are a credit to themselves and to our club.

I wish them all the best tomorrow night! Up The Tones!

Quote from: uptheblues on September 14, 2025, 08:48:18 PMNo real mouthwatering ties in the draw,

Edendork v Carrickmore probably the pick of them.

Lough v donaghmore will be a decent game too.

Trillick and errigle will be well rested for a semi final

Yeah would agree Lough and Donaghmore pick of the round be interesting to see the two young up and coming teams go at it.

I have a feeling donaghmore would take it but can't be sure. Lough would need to do better defensively? Is fox due back.

Edendork carrickmore more of an also ran fixture for me.

Thought Hurson sore on Dungannon at times. Think there was a foul outside the arc near the end when 2 in it. Assume he was playing advantage (as looked like dungannon player was celebrating after the tackle) and dungannon where having a free pop at a goal. But overturned and no free.

I read the first bit of this to the music of pink pony club

Oh Kyle what have you done your a pink pony guy lifting a wage in the Hill!

BRK should walk past Drumquin.
BRK could get to semi final???
Clonoe Vs Kildress - Field Fight (Clonoe by 5)
Rock to beat Moy IMO.

Clonoe Vs Rock
Eglish Vs BRK

Clonoe Vs Eglish Final
Clonoe by 6

Moy Owen Roes Coalisland Kildress play offs be tasty with whoever coming out of this should beat Gortin/Pomeroy.

In November.....

Think less teams in playoffs this year and we don't qualify? Can anyone confirm?

Maybe im wrong is it 2nd Vs 3rd? Is Coalisland even granted a play off? Are they not 4th??

Kildress ladies have came along way. Is there an individual pushing this within in the club? If so, great job.

Alot of good coaches and effort going into both genders in the club at the minute. Would be hoping we could push into senior already but seem to not be there just yet. Expect the girls to be there soon and I believe the Boys will be back there in the next 5.

Kildress seniors in next 5 years dont think so bigger chance of going back down to junior

I'm willing to stand by it - sure you can save and repost it in 5 years when we are in junior.
