At the same time have to hand it to you with getting it right about the rock. Newtown boys are used to playing soccer this time of year and thought they wer only allowed to go for goals and trip tackles! They made Mackle and Carrol look like world beaters around the middle! Pomeroy will have too much overall for the Rock, showed their class coming back tonight from what looked a certain defeat.

Cookstown certainly upped there game. They looked very good but naive in the second half trying to hold on to what they had and the subs where strange... showed a lack of trust. I would agree I would expect them to play Senior soon but at the same time they have got great groups of players wrong in the past.

Had the game went another 5 or 10 there would have been 10points in it.

I wouldn't write the Rock off in the final they wouldn't have seen anything to fear tonight and are hitting momentum at the right time.

You obviously weren't impressed when they put 1-19 past your boys at home? Not much surprise really, the only decent bit of defending done in kildress is you on this board if someone mentions them.

Yeah there 1-19 versus our 2-15 a one point win against a team in a relegation playoff!

I was more judging them on their performance against Owen Roes who would have put them away if mcshane was fit.

It's just an opinion I could be wrong but I think a strong pomeroy outfit will beat them convincingly.
