was on alright there was a big crowd at it. Jim kilty spoke very well as did Brian Cody. Tony Donnelly was very good as well. Tomas O'Se had obviously enjoyed himself the night before. Nothing really new apart from it being a very hard sell by sporttracker and that they are launching a handheld stats device remarkably similar to one that GAASTATS are already doing. Can't think how they came up with that idea ::) ::)

Any word of any managerial appointments for the new year. In the current economic climate you could see a lot of clubs going for one of their own this year to save on 'petrol' expenses ;) ;)

Watched the match on TG4 and had the radio on for commentary. Had to turn off BBC as it was a fraction ahead with the action to the TV so you could see what was about to happen can anyone concur. On the referee trust me he is only happy when he is being talked about so he will have gone up the road happy tonight. Was a great game. Would like to see McEntee back in as it was fairly blatant that it wasnt a staright red. Should be a great replay. Fair play to Bderry for going to the end its never over till its over.

neutral venue!!!!!Radioulster
If you look at the facts you will see that Cross have played there once and so have Bderry since the refurbishment so why is it not neutral. That is a very archaic rule will Dublin not play all irelands in croke park before you say parnell park Cross have also their own ground do you think i dont know about neutral grounds sure why not take it to cork?

And why are Clonoe not playing any more games their attitude stinks. What harm would there be in playing the game. Correct me if I am wrong but did they not win the reserve championship this past couple of years? surely they have enough to fulfill the fixture.

to be honest the logical place for the junior and senior finals was Armagh as it is about 24 miles from Ballinderry and 16 from Cross. It was very easy got out of for the semi final.

wouldn't agree. In fairness to McGinn he was trying to calm things down and some Clonoe tr**p came in a hit him. McGinn shouldn't have lost head admittely, but he just saw red and lashed out.

Ziggy, it was clearly out of order no matter what the Clonoe player did (how do you know he's a tr**p anyway?) A manager, in particular, should not be up to those antics
[/quote]
What planet are you on would it be the fact that McGinn is your local schools principal? he was clearly in the wrong after several viewings by TG4

v poor game but what can we expect when we leave our showpiece game till this time of year on a heavy pitch tho in fairness there are county finals going on all over the country in counties which had much more time than us to finish up compettitions. Some disgraceful scenes at the end of normal time. Mr McGinn has left a very bad aftertaste to the whole proceedings. He has shamed the county in front of a nationwide audience. I find it hard to have any sympathy for him as he has always been pretty objectionable as a player and as a manager. fair play to Clonoe it wasnt pretty but they won the game. I thought they could have pushed on forward second half with the spare man but it worked out for them in the end. Cassidy has done a great job with them they were still going very strong in extra time. Thought Burke was very impressive all game for Clonoe. Great to see the O'Neill Cup back in the east.

Re Sludden he is rather on the arrogant side and is also technically a poor referee. Anybody who has played in one of his games knows this to be true. Watch his time added on!!!!
