Quotewe are debating harte's disregard for rules and complete distain for the ulster council. did i miss something?

So Uladh.....please specify which rules exactly MH has disregarded in fielding the McKenna final team.

Not your personal opinion, no mention of the 'spirit' of the cup but the actual rukles he has contravined.

Anthony Stokes continues his rich vein of form with another substitute appearance for Sunder'tic. Really must be enjoying all that guaranteed first team football he turned us down for.

Still....at least it;s the legendary marksman David Connolly keeping you from the starting 11 and not some duffer.........

Good to see young Stokes setting the Championship alight with his 10 min here and there cameos from the bench. Behind David Connolly in the pecking order........ :D

Murphy, Donnelly, McDermott are the only 3  I can deffo see getting the chop. The rest I'm not so sure. Think Devine and McConnell are much of a muchness and Curren should be given a chance. Thins Quinn would be good option to have on squad also.

McCullogh is nailed on for the panel and will be very unlucky if he does not get a starting place.

Love to know what MH thinks Penrose offers though - either in half back or forward line. Have yet to see him play anything approaching a good game for Tyrone

Very interesting team. Glad to see MH sticking to his prinicples of giving everyone a fair chance this year, and good to see Cavo keep his place.

Cavanagh, Jordan, Dooher, Mugsy, Enda all to play a part at some stage if necessary.............................

Ricey, Brian McGuigan, Gourley and Holmes all to come back in next month too. Not to mention Cavanagh jnr etc

Future looks good.

No Cavanagh and Boggs on bench

Is this McKenna payback?

Think Donegal will be a big test - 11 finals since 92 and lost all 11...............never knew that one.

NFL game against them soon after and then the possibility of a Championship clash.

Know which one I'd soonest win.

Look a big strong side at the back and maybe have finally solved thier forward problems.

Big test will be mental vs Armagh. The win in the McKenna will count for nothing, especially as Donegals near championship side struggled to get past an our ma b squad

Senior Club Football

Retired now at ripe age of 33 due to injury (and complete lack of fitness)

MH will never know what he missed  ::)

Good going forward.

Not good enough tackling / defending.

Horses for course I guess.

QuoteFrom the county that regards running with the ball up your jumper entertainment. You are allowed to kick the ball occaionally. there's more pleasure in watching norn iron than tyrone

As opposed to..............what?

Humping every ball hig and diagonal into a 2 man forwardline? Great entertainment  ::)

QuoteMcDonnell's probably the hardest working player on the Armagh team

Erm...no he isn't

But I'd have him in a Tyrone shirt in a flash

If Tyrone win tonight - Final is in Breffni

If Tyrone lose tonight - Final is in Omagh

No coverage on tonight (although profile on Nudie Hughes is on)

Final on live TG4 Sat night

To be fair I think Donnelly did as well as his talent allowed. Hard to rate him as Fermanagh scored mostly from frees / long range efforts.

Think Donegal will be the team to watch this year though........if they get over the mental blockage of beating our ma in the Championship they will go far (though hopefully via the qualifiers  ;))

On another note - anyone know why P Quinn is not getting a chance this year?

To be honest neither McGinley or (especially Donnelly) fill me with any coinfidence at FB - a 'marquee' forward, or even just a nippy one would roast the pair.

Big Joey is the only option here (or maybe Marlowe?)

Davy Harte too does not inspire and I would guess any of the newer panelists would hgave a claim.

MF - you don't win AI MOM for nothing - Hub needs time to settle in there again as a regular partner to Sean. (and settle the head)

in the forwards SON, Mugsy, Dooher and McGuigan pick themsleves - leaving two from Enda, Mulgrew, Cavanagagh or McCullogh. This will be a horses flor courses one I think.

Still the future looks bright(er)

Cavo needs to be on that panel if fit (and head right). There are not many more naturally talented players in the country let alone Tyrone.

Donnelly for me is another man who has had one chance too many. Far far too slow and unskillful to play senior county football.

What is wrong with Marlowe? Is he injured? would have thought he would be a much  better propspect at FB?

How good is it though to have SON sitting on a bench waiting to come on............
