I was at the match - there was a pensioner refereeing the match called John Hackett from Eskra who couldn't run even bewtween the two 50's - he couldn't keep up with play - he says he saw NOTHING, he didn't even give a free and he didn't stop play and he didn't allow a blood sub on and had to ask at half time what happened ! Refereeing in Tyrone is at an all time low and it's about time penioners stopped refereeing - now I'm not saying it still wouldn't have happened cos the Aghyaran defenders simply took him out and that was the end - I believe there is goig to be an investigation so it will be interesting to see what comes out of that. Any guesses as to what will be the outcome ?

Brian would have been fine playing reserves anywhere else but Aghyaran except two arseholes decided to be heroes just for the day and take him out, leave him with no vision and a pile of stitches - the same pair will undoubtedly be running round Clones cheering on Tyrone !!!!!!!!!!!! Arseholes !

no problem fellow loughshore man - I think this injury should be highlighted and as for the referee, why are they sending pensioners to referee reserve matches - the referee was at least 60 years of age and couldn't even run between the 50's !!!!!! He didn't even get a free - how horrible - this referee should ever be let out again - and as for the louts that committed the crime, hanging would be too good !

loughshore lad - I was at the match as well yesterday in Aghyaran and I saw what happened - he was having a blinder and he got DONE by two Aygharan defenders - it was totally DELIBERATE - how do you explain his really serious injuries ? An elbow to the eye causing the damage it did is no fluke - great Tyrone supporters in Aygharan - and you want to hear the bullshit excuses from the Aygharan team !!!!!!!!!! Wise up - accidental ? don't think so - there were 14 others on the pitch and they didn't get hurt - is this just a pure coincidence ? Yeah, don't think so.

Brian has a very very serious eye injury - coming off the field he couldn't see anything - as of this morning he has little vision - he has 8 external stitches - he has damage to the retina. lens, iris etc - so he is in great distress at the minute and I do take great exception to people making little of his injury -

Brian Mc Guigan has indeed suffered a very serious eye injury - the least of his concern would be the superficial stitches which are external - the real damage is to the eye itslef with damage to the retina etc etc - he is unable to see much at the moment - imagine targeting a man like this who is just a total footballer ?? Hope he gets better soon and that he regains his sight -
