If the rhus were in it we'd be at page 40 by now  :D
Playing the game at 3 on a Saturday in Salthill will reduce the Ros support considerably plus the unfortunate clash with Ros CBS' All Ireland final in Mullingar.
The number of games in March /early April will be the cause of a lot of marriage breakdowns if it continues  :(
I'm hopeful only, not confident as I think we have a number of weak links in the team (  not going to name them here needless to say  ;)) which could come home to roost as the stakes get higher.
However Ros football is going through a (comparatively) good spell at present so let's hope Jimmy Gacquin's boys can keep the roll going.

Last sunday was an enjoyable but nerve wracking day out among the Wicklow hills as we clinched promotion in all but name.
Good performances by our forwards hinted at perhaps some good days to come when the sun is high and the days are long but we have major defensive problems.
As I see it we  have very few natural instinctive defenders , plenty of attacking half back types alright . Also too many small men.
However we are getting out of the D4 backwaters thankfully so let's take each positive as it comes along.
Leitrim and Longford were brought down to earth with 2 bangs last Sunday and the second promotion spot is still mathemmatically there for 3 or 4 teams.
I'd fancy Longford to sneak it but it's still all to play for.
Apologies to stevecw but I thought Carlow were the worst team I'd seen Ros play against ( from Ireland anyway) and I would ask ye to for God's sake say goodbye to Lukeen and get a local man ( amayeur !!) in.
Nice visiting you Div 4 but farewell for ever I hope . :D

P.S forgot about Mango he's sure to get a start.

If Finneran isnt 100% he will , otherwise I suspect he might be kept in reserve to shore up midfield at some stage.
A win tomorrow and the pressure will be off.
A defeat and we're facing an awkward one against Laythrum where even if we win could still miss out on promotion as we would likely be level with Wicklow behind Longford.

QuoteAlso, Mr. Lynch, this is the GAA that you signed up to and it goes far beyond the small pockets of air that enter your head, so if you don't like it, why don't you fcuk off?

Is he not entitled to his opinion? I don't have strong feelings on whether scor, handball etc. are kept within the the GAA or not but I always find it strange when people attack a man for expressing his opinion and not simply respond to the content of it.

For me everything about the GAA should be up for debate and if you want something changed or modified then you come out and say so. If you have strong feelings about something then I would encourage you to convince others of their merits and try to implement these changes.

A little bit of non-traditional thinking is always needed, if only to provoke debate, so that we don't get too comfortable.

Dangerous thing upsetting the GAA Board's Purity Corner  ::)
Those crew don't want any one tainted by Croke Park life or who received money from the GAA to open their gobs at all. ;)
For the record I disagree with Mr.Lynch's views on this matter.

How many Israeli attacks have there been on Palestinians and how many land grabs and how many denials of rights to the Palestinians in their own land?

Funny how the Western media never seem to tell us about those daily events ::)

Billy wont be there - he's relying on radio Shamrock Shore to keep him updated via text.

Of couse if Longford decided to call themselves, just for argument sake, Roscommon, then you'd be sure to get live wall-to-wall coverage from Shiteside FM.

Up Longford.

Maybe when ye get our football tradition ye might get a bit more coverage  :D
Anyway best wishes for tonight . Would be great to see ye win Leinster.

Have some faith Ross. ;D
The bright days are just around the corner.
Hard luck Bridgets , a few wrong choices ,too slow to make changes on the sideline and being up against a good team all led to a gallant narrow defeat.
But fear not Rossies the good times are just around the corner.

We are all ( even Clann  ;D) hoping the Biddies can bring the first Andy Merrigan to our fair County.
If they avoid a big day freeze they have every chance of doing so. Any early minutes disasters will be fatal but I think there are enough ould heads around to avoid that.
Let's hope there's a big Ross turnout and roar them on from start to finish.
Hopefully the west Ross people won't be too uncomfortable supporting a team in red/green. :D

Cavan beat us twice in the Hastings and looked a decent enough crew.
