I would suggest that only club chair or secretary should be county committee delegate.

No decent person will get involved with county board until the old guard are removed. These old men have been there too long and are out of date dictators. McCaughey, Bradley, Harkin, Magee, Nelis need to stand aside. Clubs need to stop sending the same idiots every year as County Committee delegates. Clubs at the minute are just sending the clowns they want rid off themselves to these meetings, old boys that they don't want in any job in the club. Petsey Kennedy is a perfect example. How can these clowns be allowed to make decisions for the county.

McLaughlin did an excellent job as Youth Officer and with CCC. When he was in charge of fixtures they ran very well. Unfortunately he has been hopeless as Chair. The dinosaurs in the county board didn't want him and when he tried to change things they rebelled against him. In effect he became a puppet with no power or authority. His term is up this year and I would guess he is glad to get out of the job.
The county is being run by the dinosaurs behind the scences. Eugene McConnell is another member of that gang. His appointment is a disaster for the county and sums up all the problems we have.
The county board is controlled by men that are dragging the county down but unfortunately no good forward looking people will get involved with them.

Mickey Harte has a year left on his term, he has said he wants to complete his term and review the situation after that.
There should be no debate about his position until after his term ends next year. The County board and clubs need to back him and the team fully. It is easy to support a winning team and easy to criticise when things are going badly.
We are in a difficult position now and there are no quick fix solutions.
Problems behind the scences with Co Committee and CCC need sorted first as a priority. Tyrone need to get the financial situation under control, real leadership from the top table and new positive thinking 'football' people on committees rather than clueless administrators/dictators/dinosaurs with agendas and old grudges.
At present clubs, county teams and players are all losing out.

The performance of the county team is no surprise given the situation. To begin with there is no money, Garvaghey has taken all the money and there is none left for teams or anything else. Garvaghey was a serious mistake, it cost too much, is too expensive to run and maintain and it isn't fit for purpose.
There is no leadership and the ultra negative dinosaurs are ruling the roost as the infighting in County Committee continues. CCC are a joke, fixture situation is of no benefit to clubs or county.
Tyrone looked tired yesterday. Is that a surprise??
I think in past 8 weeks these boys have played 5 c'ship games for Tyrone, c'ship for their clubs plus several club league games. Of course they are tired, they are amateur players. I guarantee you other successful county teams don't have to deal with a schedule like that.

Personally I would give Garvaghey away as a prize in the half time draw in Omagh on Sunday.
A massive drain on money that the county can't afford. Bad site, badly designed, not fit for purpose with regards to coaching. An over the top office block with a few pitches on top of a mountain. It sums up the lack of regard for football and coaching. A symbol of everything that is wrong.

2008 first round of c'ship played at start of July, next round played after All Ireland.
But look a lot has changed even since 2008.
Preparation of teams at all levels is more and more professional. Underage club teams now prepare better than senior county teams did 20 years ago. Coaches and players are educated about sports coaching, sports science, nutrition, S&C, Prehab, Rehab, recovery and all sorts.
Unfortunately Tyrone County Committee and CCC are stuck in the 1980s.
A massive clear out is needed. One or two individuals with new modern ideas won't change these boys. Instead they will shout them down and bully them until they walk away.
Tyrone football has got itself stuck in an out of date way of thinking. Other counties have moved with the times and are now miles ahead of us. The old guard need to stand aside..

Thanks for the offer but no need for you to get involved. My club would nominate me if I wanted.
Yours looking rid of you.

There was a Washing Bay man spouting the same rubbish defending himself and the CCC on twitter the other day.
Some tool thon boy. Got away with bullying people for years and still trying it. An embarrassment to his club. He is still trying to dictate to the County Committee.
Time for him and the rest of his gang to make way for new blood.
Kennedy, Magee, Kerr, Nelis, Bradley and co are poison, a real bag of snakes dragging the county down.

Is this under lights man for real?? Some crazy statements. CCC are run by a dictator with no regard for players or clubs. County teams including seniors also treated like sh#te.

Clubs voted for club championship to start in August not to start when Tyrone were knocked out of championship.
Problem this year was Tyrone were in qualifers so club championship couldn't be played until after all Ireland semi final because of 13 day rule etc.
Clubs have to take responsibility for this delay in championship as they voted for it.
Mickey Harte didn't get any games called off at will as far as I know?
The big problem was CCC made a mess of starred league fixtures and didn't get enough league games played in summer this was nothing to do with Mickey Harte. The u21 competition was a farce and clubs went weeks without league games when starred games should have been played.
The mess of fixtures this weekend is just down to incompetence plain and simple.

I don't buy the club v county argument at all. County teams have won all Ireland's in previous years and fixtures were never as big a farce as they have been for the past couple of years.
For me that is a red herring. The fixtures for county teams are known months in advance the CCC should be able to plan club fixtures around this. Problem is they aren't capable of doing that. The fixtures mess this weekend proves just how clueless they are.

There are some decent people on the CCC and I feel sorry for them that they are caught up in this mess.
The reality is that this committee is dominated by a few arrogant, clueless individuals and one man in particular is a real dictator, the fact that he is hopeless at the job as well is a recipe for disaster. County Committee need to intervene to sort this out as it has become ridiculous.

That set of fixtures is unbelievable! The CCC have spend the past couple of years passing the buck and blaming everyone else for the fixtures farce but surely that fixture list exposes exactly where the problem lies.
Incompetence, arrogance and buck passing all there for everyone to see. Clubs need to stand up now and take action. The CCC needs to be removed from office ASAP. The person who sanctioned and distributed these fixtures should resign immediately. Appoint a new temporary committee to set fixtures until the end of the year and get a new CCC in place during winter.

Massive overhaul of club structures and fixtures needed. Club adult football and club players are suffering at the hands of an incompetent, arrogant and ignorant CCC. It isn't right that 1 unelected man can dictate to everyone and hold clubs to ransom. Absolutely no common sense regarding adult fixtures for past few years.
