Quote from: Tyrone Dreamer on January 19, 2024, 07:49:15 AMIf Tyrone could get a team like this fit and on the pitch it's much stronger than those listed:

N Morgan
C Quinn
P Hampsey
A Clarke
M McKernan
P Harte
C Meyler
C Kilpatrick
B Kennedy
K McGeary
D Canavan
J Oguz
D McCurry
C McShane
F Burns (dropping into half back line)

Peter Harte is finished

Need the right men at the reigns to make it happen, don't think these 2 are the men given the amount of players who don't want to play for them. I would also be concerned about a lack of clear play style

Quote from: Mikhailov on January 10, 2024, 12:36:33 PMI see the holiday period is from Friday 5th July - Friday 19th July. Although it is technically 2 weeks, the reality for a player or manager is that it is a 1 week window as training will have restarted the week of the 19th fixture.
Realistically it is only a 7-10 day window to allow holiday.
Surely an easy solution is to move the game on Friday 5th forward by a day or two and delay the 19th game to the following Monday 22 or even to the following weekend and do a double fixture.
I know it is only a few days either way but it would increase the holiday options for all players rather than having to stick rigidly to the 7/10 day period.
Maybe someone will explain the rationale behind the dates published and there maybe a perfectly good reason for it

100% Should have at least 2 gameweeks break.
The calendar in Tyrone is probably the best in Ireland at present. 15 League campaign played over the best months (May-September), mostly on a Friday (to the delight of players) and a Knock Out Championship. I would say the county board and the CCC have the Senior season running very well, arguably the best it has ever run. Credit where credit is due.
Friday night games are not to the delight of players. It's a pain trying to make it in time from work especially for reserve players

Munroe played the full league last year. Bradley and mccann were starting a right bit. Sludden retiring fairly early considering he was playing every game

Quote from: Tyrone Gaa on November 26, 2023, 04:58:51 PMNo ulster club silverware coming to Tyrone this year  :-\

I'd be optimistic for next year though. If Killeeshil can get their act together they could win an Ulster Junior even with a Division 1 Cavan side (Knockbride) being in the mix.

I'd expect Moortown to win the Intermediate Championship in Tyrone and give Ulster a good rattle like they did in 2021. They were the only team that got close to Steelstown who won the All-Ireland and Moortown are a better side now. Can count themselves unlucky enough to be back in Duvison 2.

Errigal ran Glen close last year and Trillick were unlucky today so the Tyrone Senior Champions aren't far away. They just could do with a bit more luck when they get to the provincial stage. But who comes out of the Tyrone SFC next year is anyone's guess.

How can you possibly 'expect' Moortown to win the most competitive intermediate championship in the country

Quote from: Tyrone11234 on October 21, 2023, 08:35:30 PMThe team coming up will beat them as they always do. When was the last time the Div 1 team retained their place? Must be 6 or 7 years ago
Bit of quick research the last time the Divison 1 retained their place was in 2011 when Moortown beat Gortin ?
