Shane Lowry had his big chance in 2016 leading by 4 or 5 going into the last round of the US open and then imploded, cant imagine he will get too many other chances at a major

He'll always have a chance anytime he tees up in the Open.

Jesus I like Shane and all, but Ben Lowry has as much chance of winning major ffs.

He has won a WGC against the best in the world - he lead the us open (arguably the hardest major) by 4 shots after 54 holes and managed to get a joint runner up after a disastrous final round (that included the rules mess up with DJ that probably affected Shane's play as well).  To say he has no hope of ever winning a major is extremely harsh.  He will be teeing it up in all 4 majors this year - admittedly it would be a big shock if he won one but any of the top 50 or so players in the world if they put it together for 4 days in the correct week - get some lucky breaks and you never know what could happen

that post aged well didnt it trailer - clown

CCC emailed clubs last night to say they will receive an email today re:fixtures after Tyrone matches have been scheduled.

Double header Saturday so you'd assume Sunday's games go ahead?

The Sunday club fixtures have been removed from the tyronegaa.ie fixtures section of the website anyway

Brexit civil servant in charge of no-deal planning quits

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/27/brexit-civil-servant-in-charge-of-no-deal-planning-quits

"The top government official in charge of no-deal Brexit planning has quit just as the chances of crashing out of the EU appear to have increased.
Tom Shinner, 33, director of policy and delivery coordination at the Department for Exiting the EU, was in charge of coordinating the domestic policy implications of Brexit across government departments to ensure a smooth exit from the EU....   "

A 33 year old in charge?

Not a f**king surprise with the Civil Service. Ineptitude is their specialty.

What has his age got to do with his role - you have to be a particular age to get a certain job is that it - what a ridiculous statement.

Mark Zuckerberg is 35 and leads one of the biggest companies in the world.

The demographics of people who voted for brexit are the people over 50 - suppose we shouldn't let over 50's vote - then he wouldnt even have had the job

I have not read that far back, so excuse me for keeping up. If yer man allegedly hit at the start, did the player who was allegedly struck not sort it himself with a return volley? Did he just stand there and take it? May explain why he allegedly got clipped again as he didn't stick up for himself.  Although this type of abuse shouldn't happen, we are all around long enough to know how this goes. If the ref doesn't protect you or didn't see it look after yourself. views?

what a clown - if you want go out on a Sunday knowing the majority of the team you are playing either have school, university or work to go to the next day and box there is no place for you you on a gaa pitch imo - go and take up the sport of boxing there are plenty of boxing clubs in Tyrone that I am sure would love new members

Is this the same fella got himself into trouble last year with a similar act by chance?
different fella I think. This lad is a county u20. Possible vice captain?

Was on social media earlier in the day saying he was going to do it. Needs a wee trip through the courts - only way he will learn

If that were true and it was preserved it would go along way toward showing premeditation and securing a conviction.

Lough behaved very badly against Pomeroy in the league match too. They guy in question had the jersey ripped off Kieran McGeary before the ball was thrown in.

Wrong guy.
This is were hearsay gets dangerous

Not the wrong guy, it was definitely him. Tortured kieran the entire game who then ended up retaliating and got sent off.
I was not at either game but by the names I have heard I do not think it was the same player who was on mcgeary that day that was involved in Sunday's incident. I may be corrected here but as far as i'm aware it wasn't. I'm not going to name either player but I think the name has been doing the rounds anyway

If, and if you are correct, that means Loughmacrory have a serious problem. That means they have at least 3 thugs - last years, man on mc geary and now man on kavanagh. Surely something has to be done to stamp this out now!! I wouldnt be a fan of taking it through any courts but if he said he was going to do it on social media, then fu@k it, I hope he gets done for assault like he would if it was a saturday night outside sallys

Disgraceful that a young man has to go in to teach youngsters with two black eyes and a broken nose after the antics of a thug.

Must be bad if Omagh_Gael not on to defend it!

You cant defend the indefensible.  Been told that a few of the lough players even said to Augher players it was a disgrace.

Tommy's accent hasn't been totally D4 rinsed.
He looks fit enough, I wonder could he do a job in midfield for Monaghan?

Wasn't he a midfielder for the minors at 16 before he fully committed to the rugby? He'd be a good addition even now considering our midfield options for the weekend.

Sure he could line out for Emyvale again and give it a lash and see how he goes!!!

He lives in belfast doesnt he - be an option for the saffrons

Anyone watched this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ww7vWUzguko&feature=youtu.be

Interesting enough to see how the series progresses - not sure if he is going to feature every county as the season goes along

This has been a ball of sh!te to be honest. In no particular order

What was Arya's point in the last episode? To get that woman killed? Where did the white horse come outta?
How did Jamie just flip from being happy with the knight lady to heading off to Cersei for
No real reason
The mountain v the hound, brutal
Tyrion giving up Varys?

All in all terrible

For the bit in bold - Bran maybe controlling it and sent it?

All in all a disappointing season - think the screen writers are suffering from the books not been finished and while Martin obviously has an input into them - its not the same timespan effort he put into the first few books.  I think maybe Sansa sits on the Iron throne next week?

Poor from Luke McGrath just before HT..10-3 up and clock in the red he should have put it off the park.  Goes for a box kick..pen conceded..Farrell kicks to corner and Sarries work a try and Farrell converts to go in level at HT..could be a costly error

Been doing some googling around OBDII connector for my Vauxhall with the issue I previously described and was going to buy one when I came across the below video - hopefully a cheaper hack to find the ECM Codes on the Vauxhall.  The guy has listed a range of the codes in the video description

Am not sure the budget for this fight but it was written very poorly. Filmed shocking dark, and in general the last 3/4season build up to Jon Snow night King face off didn't materialise. Pure crap then you compare the legendary night fight at Helms deep in LOTR. Lighting the biggest issue.

I didn't get this at the time but apparently the dead dragon was protecting the Garden where The Night King was going for Bran. Jon couldn't get past it and the bit where he jumped in front of the dragon and appeared to just shout at it, was in fact him distracting the dragon shouting "go" so that Arya could run past into the garden. A few seconds later it cuts to one of the long haired generals and a slight gust of wind blowing his hair, which was apparently Arya running past him to jump the Night King. So Jon did in fact sacrafice his life in order to enable Arya to kill the Night King.

Read a different theory that Arya used faceless man white Walker face to get close to the NK to kill him.  Also read a theory on reddit that Bran is the lord of light.
