FF should stop sending senior party members onto TV programmes. I have seen Pat Carey being savaged, Mary Hanafin look ridiculous, Dick Roche look out of his depth and Tony Killeen lose the cool totally in the last week. 
There is a line that they can follow that makes sense and that is a true reflection of what happened last week. Brian Cowen was shafted by the ECB when it became clear that the emergency liquidity support provided to the banks would no longer be expanded. Instead the FFers  get tied up in pointless arguments that make them look stupid.

Cowen didn't get shafted by the ECB! they were sensible and said no more to funding our insolvent Banks. The ECB simply can no longer pour good money after bad! The tactics applied by FF are the same as they have always used, send out the those who shout and scream the most to quell the stupid public! Doesn't work anymore when we have the international media now reporting the Truth and not acting as a PR machine for FF like our national broadcaster. I hear now that we have negotiated a rate of 7% for this 85 billion loan! good negotiating FF, well bloody done considering Greece got 5% - our interst payments will now be 1/3 of what our goverments intake is.... Tell me please how FF have got us a good deal here??? Soliders of Destiny alright, bet Dev never knew that destiny was to make as a laughing stock and deemed a parasite on Europe.

The Irish people have got what they deserve! I never voted FF and I have always been a strong anti FF person. Will I vote in the next election? No, I have my Visa and will be taking my professional ass to Toronto - Sorry folks but quiet frankly this evil little empire is where it deserves to be. The IMF demanding higher taxes on individuals and reduced public spending & the EU Partners taking swipes to make us less competitive on the Corporation Tax front. Fianna Fail have sunk this country economically in the same manner that the 3rd Reich suck Germany, so to those people claiming they (Parties) are all the same, seriously if you believe that then you deserve to go down with the ship

To be honest I'm sick to the teeth of the bleeding heart emigrationists with their passport in their paw bleating on about how awful we all are while like all good rats they look  to jump ship when the going gets tough. The real people of value to this country are those who remain to work through the crap we are in, some by choice other s by lack of it, but all contributing in a real way to the improvement of this island.

Can't see Tipp doing this, they need a 100% fit Eoin Kelly to stand any chance but unfortunately he is not at his best. I am making the bold claim that this will be over by half time... Kilkenny to turn in a performance unlike anything we have seen before in Croker

People were surprised last week when I said Tipp were more of a danger to Kilkennys five in a row than Cork were.  I still stand by this.  I don't think either Cork or Waterford would come within a point or two of Kilkenny.

Reillers you seem to be passionate about the game and seem to know the problems, why not get involved in the county board or get involved on the coaching side?

Munster hurling is clearly in crisis, is a disgrace, is on its knees, needs outside coaches from Leinster, needs something drastic!

I wonder whether when Offaly made the breakthrough in 1980 did they have to endure people saying 'standards have declined'. They probably did. Standards obviously stayed low as they won four All-Irelands over the next fifteen years. And now they've declined even further as they themselves have declined. How low can we go?

Offaly were built around good underage teams so it didn't come from nowhere!! who am I insulting in my above statement because frankly most counties are in decline

Is it me or is the standard decling in most counties? Wexford, Offaly, Clare, Limerick, Dublin - not much between them all! Liam won't be going anywhere near these counties. The standard in Divison 1 and 2 has been pretty poor this league campaign! (due mainly to KK and Tipp not putting 100% in) You could replace Offaly, Limerick or Dublin with either Clare or Wexford and get the same results. Hurling needs more than just re-jigging of the divisions, grass-roots development needs to change in these Counties and this will take years.

No point in arguing with somebody who doesn't seem to have perspective, no doubt the person commissioned to do the sculpting would be some foreign manufacturer (you do know that our tender process goes to the cheapest contractor which most likely would be some manufacturer in Spain or Turkey) That would be great for the Local Economy

In fact I would argue that the 'I'll block it if there is nothing in it for me' attitude is precisely why our economy is in a massive mess in the first place.

What would businessmen be concerned about? what would a grouping of businessmen feel is in their best interest when spending the money they pay in rates? do you want a hint? something along the lines of aiding doing business in Wexford!! I take it you never did economics so I will not cast judgement.

Our economy is in this mess because nobody questioned (large % of the population anyway) the policy of throwing money around which I believe you are proposing with your build it now attitude.
