Quote from: Itchy on May 21, 2024, 08:45:33 PMThere is, as far as I'm aware, no evidence of this gang rape/mass rape thing. Its also pretty much accepted that Israel shot up a large amount of their own people. If they gave a damn about hostages they would gave negotiated their release, instead they carpet bombed civilian areas. You need to think of Israel as Nazis to understand the evil you are dealing with here.

I have no doubt that Israel wilfully murder and starve Palestinians - it's clear from their actions.

Though hasn't the ICC also accepted that Hamas fighters used sexual violence? I'd imagine they must have seen evidence before stating such.

Well there is that one clip of the girl getting dragged out of the Jeep by the hair-can't imagine what horrors she suffered

Has that story been debunked recently? Is that the one with the girl with blood of her trousers?

Didn't the IDF recently release videos of this same girl who was kidnapped with her hands tied behind her back and they were bleeding?

they (zionists and supporters) also reposted it all over social media qith mis translation of what was said in the video.

Correct - by releasing the video they were caught out.

Zionist liars.

If i'm in different place and stopped in a shop/garage and there would be a £1 or £2 euro lotto, I'd do it occasionally.

Still waiting in hope for that phonecall the following mid-week.  :)

Quote from: Blueforever on May 23, 2024, 03:53:47 PMTradition my Ar** Im my lifetime I have seen Offaly winning their first football in 1971 and first hurling in 1981 Clare winning in 1998 their second one first one in 1914 they had no tradition behind them but that didn't stop them it's no coincidence that Offaly have won a football under 20 and appeared in a minor and under 20 twice since Duignan became chairman. If the right people are at the top anything is possible but with clowns in charge all your have is a circus

I think the work was done before MD cam in. He just added to it.

They are a small county, but are in a good location in the midlands.  For both football and especially hurling.

That's a huge help.

Quote from: Feckitt on May 23, 2024, 01:43:49 PMMy prediction for this election in the North is that Nationalists will outpoll Unionists. This happened for first time ever at the local elections last year.  The trend cannot be reversed and Unionists will never outpoll Natiobalists ever again,  including in a Unity Referendum.

They should but may also be giving up a few percentage points to help Farry in North Down and Long in East Belfast, whereas Unionists will step aside to help another Unionist and overall won't give up Unionist percentages.

I wonder, for all the talk of infighting within unionism currently, will they come together and have a pact?

Basically KK through whatever happens but a real battle for the other two spots.

Be interesting to see who's in the Leinster Final.

Wexford have had Kilkenny's no. this past few years BUT KK had already qualified for the Leinster Final.

This is a bit different.

I'm surprised Joe has never went into management. I remember he was very critical of the club in Belfast who he was going to take and they went for thr 'paid' option, iirc?

You'd think he get a gig somewhere. Maybe too many plates on the go with his job, podcast and writings etc.

Quote from: Captain Obvious on May 22, 2024, 08:51:05 PMThe young Offaly fans are mad to get on the field to celebrate.

Got a replay in '98, could have cost a win tonight. Thankfully it didn't. Great win

Was there ordinary time still to be played?

I suspect the Leinster council, nor the Portlaoise officials expected such a crowd and were short on stewards.

They'd have known from all the tickets sold on-line.

Huge Offaly crowds follow their U20 teams. O'Moore Park next door to Offaly basically.

Screeny is some operator. Class act.

I'd say he'll still stand. Another few years on the gravy train.

The timing is interesting for the DUP.

There'll be some protests with Jamie and Jim at the band parades up until the election.  It'll be all against the DUP sell-out and sea border.

Is Campell's seat a safe one for him? It could be an interesting election. A good few postal votes with people on holidays also.

Seems a lot of Tory MPs aren't happy with his decision.

Great stuff. Let the slaying begin.

Quote from: Itchy on May 22, 2024, 10:05:51 AMIsrael have recall that horrible hoor of an ambassador, good riddance. They've also threatened more "severe consequences" for us, Norway and Spain. Sounds like a threat to me.

She should have been booted out of Ireland months ago.

Norway to recognise Palestine state, with Ireland and Spain to follow.

Let's hope many more follow suit over the next few weeks.

Would it be better/cheaper to book a family holiday in the north or south?

Or does it make any difference price wise? If in south, probably have to fly out via Dublin.
