Quote from: God14 on June 04, 2024, 10:29:31 PMA stay of execution, his role is completely untenable now

It looks like he has lost most of the players, and he certainly has lost the supporters.

Love all the Tyronies creaming their knickers all over this.

Haha, hands up... I'm absolutely loving it. Grinning from ear to ear

Quote from: sam03/05 on May 18, 2024, 08:03:08 PMThought Hartes comments after the game were a disgrace. Said he didn't see mckinless incident , but then proceeded to accuse Comer of making a meal of it and theatrics.
It was as  blatant a red card as seen at a game & it more or less ended Comers involvement in the game. McKinless deserves a lengthy ban for it

Agree 100per cent, can't believe he wasn't pulled on it
Paul Devlin was handed an iPad last week after McHughs red card
Harte lost it completely though, roaring and swearing on the sideline was never a trait of his til now.

Most of these lads have went straight from flat out colleges football, to flat out condensed season county u20s
Please God they get the win, enjoy it, take a rest and get ready for senior club football
McKenna cup is the next time some of them should see a county jersey
Tyrone rushed 5 lads from the 2022 u20s. Niall Devlin, Steve Donaghy, Ruari Canavan, Conor Cush and Michael McGleenan were all added to the senior panel. It didn't work in 2022, and it won't work in 2024

Quote from: Captain Obvious on May 16, 2024, 09:42:28 PMJust Padraig McGrogan that featured in the match against Galway in the league game not named on that Derry 26 and he's replaced by McKinless. A depleted side and potential injury crisis?

Niall Loughlin is a huge loss from the 26. He's a very underrated forward. Always worth a couple of points and a massive work rate.

Agreed, really solid if unspectacular performer. Heavily under rated.

Not many score getters on that Derry bench

You'd wonder what'd happen if Shane McGuigan ever got an injury

According to him, Derry have a small MF pairing, and that MH doesn't have a clue...

Unless im wrong, the current AI record is 3 v 1?

At senior level yes, Harte also has a minor all-ireland and 2 u21 all irelands. So it's kinda 6 v 1?

Jim yet to win an Ulster senior club either

Levels.

It would make sense for Ben Cullen to rejoin this group now. He wasnt eligible last night, once he came on against Donegal as sub last Sunday. Tyrone dont play again until after the U20s is complete. Would be a serious addition to this panel of players

Its mad the difference a year makes... we beat them by 1-5 at Ballybofey just last June
Despite us retaining Div 1 status we are going into this 2/1 outsiders and not fancied at all
I think if Con is fit, we have a real chance here. Few conundrums for management... I dont think we can afford to start both Canavans & McCurry - we need more output in the middle third. Joe Oguz & Ben Cullen should both come in to start. Leaving one of that 3 out, gives us a good attacking sub for the second half along with McShane
I think for the best part of the game drop off on their kick out's entirely. Donegal are coming in on a high, best to frustrate them early and it negates Pattons influence.  We have enough  pace and firepower to do well on the counter.
Lets not forget Derry got loads of attacks & shots away last week. They were also quite flat energy wise, and made some silly mistakes to literally gift goals. Donegal were far from flawless. I expect we will get plenty of opportunities - if we take a good share of them we will be in business

Quote from: ClubScene13 on April 24, 2024, 03:37:46 PMLet's hope we get the Tyrone / Derry Ulster final everyone wants to see. With no back door and a title on the line it'll be a cracker.

Also just looking at that panel, if Donaghmore don't nick a championship with this generation of players it genuinely will never happen. I know there has been many a good underage squad come through the ranks at every club, but rarely with this kind of Tyrone representation. You'd think with these lads being in development squads so long they must have their heads screwed on and mightn't fall to the distractions other lads would.

7 players in a matchday 24 is some going, can't think of it previously but I'm sure Errigal probably done it at some stage

Im sure Donaghmore clubmen would make a case Ronan Molloy should have been an 8th panelist there as well

Still no McHugh... could be doing with him now we've entered knock out football
