Donegal 2pts +5
Tyrone 2pts +7

Going to be an exciting finish to the group in 2 weeks. If Tyrone can beat Cork and stay within 2 points of Donegal's score (assuming they beat Clare) then we'll top the group.

Cork just have to Draw and they top the group

Donegal need a win and beat Tyrone's score by 1 and they'll take it on the top spot (assuming tyrone beat cork)

If the 3 finish level the score differences will be from the games between the 3.
Clare games won't count.

GAA doesn't do marketing or promotion
Charging €15 and €5 for children to TC group games is crazy stuff.
Neutral venues daft as well ...I know it's for fairness but it means 2 lots of people stay at home.

By the way we already have a top 8 knock out....it's called the All Irelabd football Quarter Finals. ;)

I'd say 3 tier is the future alright.
When is the question.
Meanwhile did anyone hear any player or manager bemoaning the current  structure?

St. Micky no doubt  ;D

Seemingly he has some kind of "music festival" this weekend.

Derry must be playing mind games with Kerry😄

It's do or die for us now.
Not great yesterday as all the old failings manifested -  no defence or midfield, slow slow sideways, backwards.
Yet we could have stolen a draw in the end. :-[

A 2 week rest and hopefully a win over Cavan and probably last 12 exit again.

They all look and sound arrogant.
As they can when big bad Biden is backing them to the hilt and won't stop doing do no matter what the mudering cnuts do.

Promoted sides akready get a higher seeding than the teams they replaced.
Donegal and Armagh were seeded above Ros and Monaghan this year.

If "no member of squad or management" wanted to be involved, wouldn't they have pulled out?

Another Nordie against change ::)

Any idea when the Quarter Finals fixtures will be announced?

If we could stick our noses in to this Group 1 forum.... ;D

2 handy wins for Jackeens and Rhubarbs is the consensus no doubt.
Hopefully this where we announce our return to the relatively high ranks!
We can't let these crowd bate us 3 times in 1 year!!

Bigger picture though..Looking at the other groups apart from having to take a bus trip there's not a lot of differ between finishing 2nd or 3rd.

No Co Board put up a motion to that Congressy retain the 2022 system.
94.7% voted for the present system to come in for 2023.
To an simple west of Ireland lad like meself that sounds fairly decisive.

Won't be doing away with Provincials while hurling exists.
Munster SHC will be grossing €6m in gate receipts this year.

Terrace tickets for Munster Hurling Final sold out in 15 minutes this morning.
