An raibh duine ar bith ag amharc ar Seo Spoirt anocht? Bhain cara domsa (Albert Fry) an comortas an tseachtain seo chuaigh thart de reir Gemma ach nior chuir siad sceal chuige. Cade mar a dtig leis an duais (gaoth dobhair spake) a claimail? A thairaint chuige fein ('acha'n ait eile spake).
In case someone else knows. A friend of mine (Albert Fry) won the competetion on Seo Spoirt on TG4 and hasn't recieved any confirmation only that Gemma read it out on the show. How can he claim his prize??

Five Minutes of Council/Minister/SR and TD/DCB sitting round a table would lead to the above.
No it wouldn't, because it's not possible.
Which is why Thomas Davis won't show anyone their "plans".

Meaningless waffle won't lead to a proper, fully-finished logical stadium (including a full-sized GAA pitch).
Quote from: Fionntamhnach on May 07, 2007, 12:09:02 PMAgree with Fionn on that comment. Also all Counties have 3 grades of Club Championships -Senior/Inter/Junior.
Structured tiers for intercounty championships work grand for hurling and ladies football is introducing them this year. What's the problem for it in mens football?

So let me get this straight - a number of GAA clubs in Dublin have had their planning permissions delayed because of Thomas Davis ??
This is just complete bolloux and you know it. Back up you point with details or else just shut up.
Lucan Sarsfields for one.

topic. If they need to get into the ground and have the money to pay for it why have'nt they come out and said so and why do you support an organization that can pay for this but won't. I can understand why they would want the govt. to pay for it but I can't understand you or anyone not directly involved in SR supporting a situation where they have the ability to contribute significantly but don't and the country has to fit the bill.

Missed the first half because of traffic in Navan and a serious delay in Virginia.
The option of turning back should have been exercised
I actually turned back after queuing for over 30 mins to get through Virginia!! It was after 3 at that stage and I reckoned that the 30km to go to Cavan added to a likely long walk would mean that I would miss a lot of the 1st half. I would have turned back earlier only my daughter was with me and didnt want to give up on it.
Give me a trip to Croker anytime ahead of that crap. In future I will thoroughly research the best way to go to Provincial venues - the most direct route probably wont always be best.
Quote from: SammyG on April 30, 2007, 04:12:24 PMPresumably because most visitors want something of the Country's Capital City.
. If you are a visitor to Belfast or Derry, why would you want to buy a souvenir of Dublin?
