Hanratty stormed off during the first Kilcoo game, did he not?

Kilcoo won fair and square over the 2 games they whadthe strongest squad available and that was the key.  Yesterday it was clear that the last 4 years really took their toll on a lot of bodies. Outside of the players unavailable there were a few playing with injuries and they were hampered.  Anyway best of luck to Kilcoo. Ballinderry will be hard to beat and are really focused.  Glenswilly are the one's who are really laughing here.  They should beat roslea and will face a team who has played exceptionally physical games and the body can only do so much.

For us next year is next year.  We will have players back and maybe players gone but we will be there and I have a feeling that we will have a big focus.  Defeat hurts hard.

Are you running out of talent? What happens when the Kernans retire? It is still a sad fact that the rest of Armagh football has some way to go to catch you up.

The same question was asked about the Mc Entees

I'm asking a serious question, who are the players to watch for? Or will Cross be in the Ulster doldrums for a few years?

Look, the cub keeps producing players year on year.  The current squad is relatively young, Stephen and Aaron are just 30 and outside of TK, Mickey Mc, Fish and one or 2 others the rest are 25 and under.  I don't really count Paul Hearty as he can play as long as his body lets him.  The core of the team are there for the next 5-6 years minimum, I reckon that there will be not retirements of any real note in the next 4 years or so.  If the team can tick over nicely over the next 3 years there is a fantastic bunch of players coming through who are now between 15 and 17 years old, they made last years u16 county final, won this years u16 final and this years Division 2 minor Double.  They will be strong in minor next year and for the next 2-3 years.  They are a good bunch and will be blending in nicely with the current squad.

A comment on the ref, it is not often you hear praise for a ref but I have to say that McQuillan handled the game very well and got all the big calls correct. He was helped as well by 2 teams more or less trying to play the game better than the precious week. The 2 sendings off for Cross were correct and borne completely out of frustration at the situation and we can have no complaints. I was too far away from the Kilcoo on to comment on it. The penalty was clear-cut.

The ref was poor - he gave everything to Cross, and I mean everything. I was completely neutral, but was happy when Kilcoo won because of it

Great win for Kilcoo yesterday, i appreciate Cross were not at full strength and can assure you Kilcoo would rather have played the same team that beat us in last years Ulster final.
A game that we were missing Niall McEvoy, Felim McGreevy, Roger Morgan (London) Martin McClean (Netherlands) Dominic McEvoy, Barry Kane. Yesterday we were missing Felim McGreevy,  Anthony Devlin, Jerome Johnston, , Donal Kane and Ciaran McClean. These players named would walk on to most Down division 1 teams. Most Down posters can back me on this!
You can only play whats put in front of you. Over the Two games we had Cross almost away twice but had to admire there determination and never over til its over attitude.
Its going to hard to rise again for Sunday but we'll give it a rattle.

A full strength Cross team would have swatted Kilcoo aside. There is absolutely not a shred of doubt about that.

did anybody else notice that the ref played just one minute of injury time at the end of normal time, there was at least 5 Min's that could have been played when you add in the stephen kernan injury with everything else, with crossmaglens tails up, injury time would have made a big difference,
