Niblock thinks the Anglo-Celt is the most precious piece of silverware in Ireland. Odd take.

Quote from: Nanderson on Today at 05:44:13 PMDoes this game go to penalties if a draw after extra time?

Yes.

Ref didn't want to risk being in position of giving away a dodgy free for a potential winner.

Considering the quality of some of the scores, I found the whole thing very boring.

Lynch has generally been quiet since the injury. Understandable given the severity of it, but surprised he's kept his place this long while being so far off his exceptional standards.

Kyle Hayes finally on the receiving end of a bit of discipline. If the judiciary can't do it, the refs will have to step up!

Quote from: gallsman on May 11, 2024, 07:44:00 PMOk, so how much will Limerick win by? I'm gonna say 8.

Was feeling good about this when Flanagan's second went in.

First time a team has responded to limerick's 3rd quarter push. Incredible run from Kingston to win the penalty.

KK were absolutely brutal, even for being down a man. Hit 16 wides and if it wasn't for two monster scores from TJ (who'd been poor all day) they'd have been beaten.

Quote from: Saffrongael on May 11, 2024, 06:25:08 PMIt looked like the KK player over ran the ball over the sideline, and then tossed the ball away - hard to tell

Must have been as couldn't see anything else. Ref made a "pulling back" that I couldn't understand at all.

KK absolutely dreadful since the red card but what on earth was that free for?!

Not your taxes though.

Pretty common right wing trope there

Doesn't make it any less true

All sorts of meaningless things are true.

If Ratcliffe is true to form, he might not want United staff working from home, but he'll likely be happy enough to have them working from Mumbai or similar. None of his promises or bluster can be trusted. Just look at the "British built" Grenadier.

Well it's the lodges/villas I meant. I wouldn't be one for the aul tent now. Fond of my air con and instant hot water. Iberian finals are in Salou next Saturday with a bank holiday on the Monday so we're going down and staying for a few days.

Good on them. That's quite different from the club doing it though.

Quote from: square_ball on May 10, 2024, 01:31:48 PMWe've been looking up holidays for next May for a family of 5 in the usual places - Majorca, Salou, Albufeira and they're not coming in with much change from £4k and a lot of those are just half board. Pre Covid for a family of 4 we got an inclusive for under £2k in Lanzorote similar time of year.

11 nights in camping Sanguli, sleeps 6, 1400.
