I looked it up, and Sheedy only played five times for Liverpool in four years, a couple of them sub appearances.

Yeah have him in an old poster. Deffo one of the few who got away. The stattos will confirm but from memory it was Whelan who kept him out of the side before he moved on, Whelan a right footer playing left mid wasnt universally popular at this stage despite the odd crucial goal but when he moved to the centre all became good 😊

Sheedy was lucky as he moved to a great Everton side. Liverpool was not meant to be.
