Supersarsfields - Thats how they operate though, they won't give you a release date until closer fo' the time otherwise they won't be able to get rid of existing stock 3GS. I was I the same situation last year, I had an idea the 3GS would be out in June/July and even when the date was confirmed the staff in the 02 shop were still telling me they weren't sure if there was a new one coming out. I would hold tight for another month or two.

puzzled-got a 32gb i phone sat-i went into o2 shop looking a mid contract upgrade but was told that they (o2) dont do mid contract i phone upgrades. ok says i and i took out a new 24 month contract which as part of, i got the 32gb i phone.

phone o2 this morning and told them what happened in store-he said that i didnt need such an expensive contract (£65) and set me up a £38 contract again on a 24 month. He said he would cancel the £65 contract. I said fine-he then said he will send me out a 16gb i phone to be with me by wednesday!

i said eeeeerrrrr, ok. wtf is going on?

Sounds like you are getting two phones for the price of one, Id say nothing and think about selling whichever one you don't want on then.. never deal with the shops myself you can get far better deals over the phone

Cheers for the advice Omagh Gael/Minder. I think I'll probably hold back and see what the craic is over the next few months. These apple marketing gurus are too damn good

Sky are offering the Sky Sports package on Iphone free for a month to new subscribers. I had it for the three months before Xmas so i made up a Sky ID for my Ma and used her details and it worked a treat

New Jailbreak for 3.1.3 is out. Havent JB'd mine for a while so did it with the new one.

Already glad i did, phone looks so much beter with new theme, nevermind the other little app's etc.

Free Apps,themes,games
For example I downloaded Tom Tom Europe off piratebay and put it on my iPhone so now I have a free satnav, I think the Tom Tom Europe software is €70 or thereabouts, was also able download Tiger Woods Golf,Fifa 10 and a load of old games like Mario,Sonic etc all for free

As Boycey said, its aclled Spirit, much easier than Blackra1n was, took about 2 mins to JB

Havent came across any bugs as yet.

No as far as I can see, though you can always just reset it via iTunes
