Becoming a joke now.

That the 2 best young players from the past 2 years gone now
They're hardly going to sign the less good lads!

lmao!

Two players you build teams around and big misses for the neutral also.  Best of luck to him, you cannot begrudge a young person an opportunity of a lifetime.

I tend to think of myself as a one man wolfpack...

They don't often get proper established senior players from big counties do they? Likes of Glass was only a cub and obviously Kobe had the deal done before he broke out for Mayo. He's still young enough that he can do a couple of years and come back though. Huge loss for Donegal and the GAA as a whole but best of luck to him

They've been recruiting for a long time now and I don't think theres been two players signed in the one year with as big a blow to the GAA as Kobe and Roarty - absolutely massive blow to lose two of the most exciting players in the country.

Inter county game will become a severely diluted competition if this current trend continues.

And best of luck to them be mad to turn it down.

Dial the hyperbole back a bit. They are huge losses for sure. They are each, however, one of fifteen starting footballers at any given time.

IC football will not be diluted at all. And don't let Tom Parsons hear you saying that.

Big loss to Donegal and the game.

I'd wonder with him fast tracked into the Donegal senior set up that this move was well known in advance and unlike Mayo with Kobe kept it quiet?
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Mr Hyperbole himself Colm Parkinson

QuoteAFL taking an established star player from an All Ireland contender This must be at crisis point now for the GAA.

Around 1,000 senior County panellists, 30? Irish lads in AFL, most of them rookies.

They need to train you up. At 25 it's too late.

Not often they get someone as established as Roarty though at a county with All Ireland ambitions although he's obviously still very young.

G,real pearl harbour job there, Was he even away for a trial? Donegal lucky Langan too old.

That's a big blow for us for sure. Best player to come through for us since Murphy I'd almost say.

Massive loss to Naomh Chonaill too obviously.

But I have to say I'm absolutely delighted for him personally. Hopefully with his intensity, energy, physique and brain he can make it down there.

If not, we'll be waiting.
