Good to see. Would they be a big enough club many numbers?

Solid underage structures and would be comfortably 2nd to Steelstown out of the townie teams at all age groups. Attempts at hurling and camogie and going well with the LGFA, good luck to them In future

Got their own club grounds/pitch 5 years ago and that has been a big help for them. Underage teams have been improving too so there is a foundation there for them to build on.

If being completely honest they're probably Derry's weakest Junior winners in 5+ years so I couldn't see them doing much in Ulster. I watched the game yesterday though and they were deserving winners.

X-Factor star Eoghan Quigg seems to be their main scoring forward. Must be a decent enough player.

Have heard for years he is a good footballer, good soccer player too by all accounts. I think he kicked a bagful in the semi final as well

Sleater

based on teams left, who'd be favourites for IFC and JFC?

Ballybay who were Monaghan SFC winners 4 years ago would appear to be very strong contenders in IFC. How are Pomeroy shaping up?
Lacken, I imagine  would be strong JFC contenders? Previous winners Drumhowan (hot favourites for Monaghan JFC) are a better version of themselves than they were a few years ago, when they last competed in this competition.

SouthOfThe Bann

Great weekend for Derry City Football with Doire Trasna winning Junior and Muff winning intermediate.

Fintona will be there, thereabouts if they are off the bar stool by that stage

Muff?

Extremely lucky on Saturday night. In fairness to them they missed a bagful and everything Stewarstown hit went over but relying on a last minute goal was surprising for such heavy favourites. I thought they would win by 10+ myself.

Pomeroy very lucky as well - should have been out of sight but Rock missed some sitters near the end. Looking at a replay without Frank Burns through suspension it could get tricky enough now for them. Would still fancy them but they very easily could be sitting this morning asking how did we throw that away
