colour clashes

I've been saying this for years, not just regarding colour-blindedness; the GAA shows no consideration for the elderly or those with visual impairment. In the Down championship we had the ludicrous situation a few years ago where Castlewellan (green jerseys, black shorts) played Bryansford (green jerseys, back shorts, jersey with a gold hoop). Armagh v Derry 2023 was brutal, didnt notice much at the game at the time, but trying watch it on TV after was horrible.

At least Derry went back to the red hoop that goes the whole way round, instead of the awful half hoop.

RTE Sport had a story on it today. Red v Green is one of the main challenges. Munster GAA will ensure it doesn't happen next year if Cork play Limerick (too late for Sunday).

Yeah I think we've a few colour blind lads so always change to black against Kerry for example.

My brain can't compute what is happening when it's Cork vs Galway, especially in a sunny day.

I've said it a million times before. America solved this problem decades ago. Why it's so hard to bring in here I just do not know .

Home team should wear a shirt that's no less than 90% white. Away team should wear a shirt that's no more than 10% white. No exceptions, no nearlies. Just make it the law.

A small but important thing here is shorts.

If one of Cork or Limerick switched from white to match their shirt colour, it's a lot easier to distinguish
