The boul Tom has sent in his Christmas list early this year. He wants all IC players to get a 40% bump from €1,800 up to €2,500 in their government grants.

Player survey finds players want more money shocker! Tomfoolery

Derek Kent be giving out the old 1-2 uni flu that day I'd reckon

We call him Sligo Tom here in his native county.

8.2m to pay players. 3.1m for coaching. I'll leave that there.

If you have a problem with sport infrastructure argue it. But the GAA still gets the lions share of that.

That said, 20m again for the dogs is literally a scandal.

My point is the GAA gets 11.3m a year for community and hives 8m of that straight to players.

Isn't that €8 specifically for the players?

Greyhound racing should be abolished!

Yes. But how the GAA split the 11 was their call.

That'll be the GPA bought and paid for wrt integration going forward i.e. 5 year plan, federalised model

Small price to see the back of shittacus cantankerous (MMA)

It's cruel and serves no function beyond gambling.

Whatever about banning, there is no justification for taxpayer funding.

Youghal track got 759k in funds to redo the stand and an annual 50k in running fees. Average crowd - 3. They have run meetings with no paying punters. Remember that next time your club is denied a grant.

I don't think that is true. The GAA has no involvement in the Grants/additional expenses scheme.

And soccer is getting €4m per annum for the sham that is LoI academies.
