How many  current United players would  Liverpool Arsenal City etc have? Garnacho maybe?  But  even he is too hit and miss

It's a sad state  of affairs.  United always had  players capable of standing up , and dragging them through a bad run  of results.  Not this lot though.

From the Manchester Evening News.  Ruben Amorim has agreed in principle to take over as Man United manager. Now down to United and Sporting to agree compensation package.

Few questions if Amorim is the man to take over. Why was he not approached in the summer or identified at that stage?

Few questions if Amorim is the man to take over. Why was he not approached in the summer or identified at that stage? ETH had success in a mediocre league and couldn't deal with the challenges of managing at a higher level United have went for a similar replacement. 

Amiron prefers a 3-4-3 formation not sure how this fits with the players that United currently have?  In the ETH era they were continually over run in midfield, do United have the personnel/legs to get away with two playing in midfield?  Where does Fernandes fit into this formation? Who gives the natural balance on the left? Does Harry Maguire become a live option to play in a back three where more comfortable?

If they are to appoint him so soon after sacking Ten Hag it probably says he was already approached in the summer or identified.  A lot of those questions will need to be answered, new sighing Leny Yoro will likely fit in somewhere if they go with 3-4-3 formation once he returns from injury.  Didn't he manage Fernandes at Sporting?
