I'm not sure this window has been such a success for United

No real CB or DM, the two biggest holes in the team

Falcao is coming 29 and has had three knee surgeries, maybe look to the man hes replacing to see what the odds are there of buying an aging player with injury problems.
Also looks like Rojo might be going nowhere, apparently some issue with him beating lumps out of his neighbour?

Rojo is a centre back and Blind is a defensive midfielder.

Both are left backs playing out of position
Sorry this just isn't true. Blind i could agree with but Rojo is a centre half who played out of position at the world cup because Argentina didn't have a good left back, same as Howedes did with Germany. Both played the majority of their club football at centre half.

I love the way people will do anything to try to reinforce a point.  Yes, he's 'coming' 29, the same way as everyone is 'coming' to the next year in their life.  He is 28.  He is not 29 until February 10th.  He's closer to 27 than 29 ffs!
No he isn't.

You are correct.  For some reason I thought we were still in August, not September.

Can't believe it's 'coming' October already.

Still wouldn't be closer to 27 than 29...

If it was the 9th August or earlier then he would be.

Keep up.

As far as a flying f**k goes could anyone care less? He's 28... deal with it lads!!!

Bingo

He's closer to 40 than he is to 27, as he has a better chance of seeing 40 than he has of seeing 27 again.

beer baron

He's absolutely brilliant so who gives a dung what age he is.

Not until he has ten years done.  But according to M4S that's 'coming'.  ;D

Could be more like:

                     De Gea

Valencia    Jones    Rojo     Shaw

          Hererra         Blind
                      Mata

         Rooney           Di Maria

                    Falcao/RVP

Van Gaal intends to stick with 3 at the back, so doubtful if it will be like that but who know's, could be more like

                                       De Gea

                          Jones   -  Rojo - Shaw

                               Herrera - Blind

Rooney - Mata - Di Maria

Falcao - Rvp, (depending on Surgery)

Captain Obvious

I think I count eighteen players sold or loaned out in this transfer window and few more just about stayed on however those are sure to be let go in January. I haven't seen this much transition with a club since Manchester City about 7 years ago.

beer baron

Tom's off to Villa for the season anyway.

Where he will undoubtedly do a good job for them, he is a decent midfield player who has taken the brunt of the flak for a poor season last time out. Danny Wellbeck also I can see having a big season for the Gooners one which could come back to haunt United for that champions league spot.

Going to be exciting going forward now but still nail biting stuff at the back.
