Slaughtneil-Revenge. And this is last chance saloon for a number of Great servants to the club

Bridge-i believe they are still the best team in Doire

Greenlough-They are a Championship team

Craigbane-just by a whisker.

Trasna will win but I hope I'm wrong

On the senior games

Magherafelt v Slaughtneil
Magherafelt by 3 - If they curb Shane McGuigan which I expect and keep frees to a minimum they will dominate kickouts to give them a platform to win.
Glen v Newbridge
This one is very tight. Glen defence is a bit suspect but if McFaul is back then that will give them just enough to get over the line.

Magherafelt v Slaughtneil
Magherafelt by 2 AET

Glen v Newbridge
Glen, despite the squad littered with very poor players who somehow managed to win Ulster and AI clubs and get past Kilrea, I think they will shade this one by 3 points. Should be some tussle

IFC
Greenlough v Eoghan Rua
Eoghan Rua by 5

Doire Trasna v Ballerin
Ballerin by 3 AET

An Lub I believe. Fairly sure he was being sarcastic in response to a post last week from a new  poster. Decent bloke. Has laughed at some of my posts in the past 😄

On the naughty step at the end of the working week 😕

The previous poster who said Glen had "poor players all over the pitch" must have high standards.
If anything, Newbridge should be the ones insulted as JOG2 has tipped an entire squad filled with very poor players to beat them by 3. Pitchforks will be out for him.
Castledawson must have done well in the U16 to get out of Slaughtneil with a win, can be quite a hostile atmosphere for underage championship games.

Not according to Derry gaels thats why theyre able to provide commentary

Two intermediate and senior semis listed as being on. Showed plenty of games and good quality coverage but accessing it on the Web is a pain.

Derry have a fairly good production now, I didn't get up to any of the games today. I think Glen have undoubtedly the best attack of the last 3, they dismantled teams that other contenders struggled to put away. Think they could lift another JML

Magherafelt still look like the best team in the championship this year. Stacked with great players.

On a different note: when are referees going to stop giving such heinous advantages to losing teams? I noticed it a couple of in the Eoghan Rua game but nothing major. But that slaughtneil goal was ridiculous. Watching it back and Shane took 10+ steps before bouncing the ball. I am all for a referee allowing a few extra steps if the attacker has a man hanging off him but that was just a clear case of not wanting to blow the whistle and face the backlash from it. Thankfully it wasnt the difference in the end.

Wildweasel74

10+ steps.Normal goal in the Tyrone championship.
