Limavady looked a poor team when I saw them in the league. I would have been very surprised if they had done well in intermediate.
Lavey win by 4, Swatragh ran out of steam second half. Lavey need to up their scoring rate to trouble better teams.

I seen Limavady at the start of the year, 3 or 4 games in, when they drew with Kilrea, actually should won that game.They looked decent enough with a big midfield, a very good player in Harry McLaughlin, way too open at the bck, but though they might stay up bck then. Def thought they were too strong for Intermediate. Only a Limavady man can tell what has went wrong there!

Fair assessment that Swatragh ran out of steam, fitness just wasn't there.
I thought Lavey were really poor, no speed in attack, slow build ups, shocking amount of throwing themselves on the group trying to get men booked.
A team who I thought pre championship had the potential to break into the front 4 look coached into no risk football.

Matthew Downey, Niall Toner really need to show alot more if they are to be considered a cut above the rest and county standard. It was fitness alone that beat Swatragh chances where there.


What really annoys me about Lavey management is that for last two games they have put Oisin Mulholland on who is still a minor and preparing for Ulster Minor knockout but looks out of his depth in senior championship.

That was a fairly hard hitting game against Swatragh and to throw a talent like that in an risk one big hit to destroy his season is madness.
Its absolutely a classic example of paid management not giving two dams about long term development and solely focused on this is most important game ever for this club.
That lad will be a star for Lavey but not this year, let him develop as the right pace.

Heard the ref was assaulted after the Screen game

Saw the video...

Plenty of commotion...bit mad...roaring match from a few...

Ref looked to take a dive in the middle of it all...couldn't see any strike....so not sure about assault but you'll have to view and assess for yourself...

Met a man in Moneymore Petrol station earlier today and he reckons the ref used to work for L.C.C previously and maybe his dad still did...maybe pure BS....

Plenty of bias in decisions apparently...

Calling the Screen team 'Draperstown' all the time which would stink if true....

But apparently the ref called the game as a draw....

When Screen actually won by a point...

Anyways the game then went to penalties  and Lissan then won the shoot out.....

I'm sure someone at the game will come along and explain things....
