Anybody notice the drop in quality of production for the recorded games on the gamexchange platform even in comparison to last year

Quote from: Brendan on August 27, 2026, 11:23:40 AMLast 2 winners have played Division 1 in the league might be a good omen for Limavady.

Desertmartin, Coleraine, Dawson, Greenlough, Claudy, Foreglen, Drumsurn. Which of those do you consider to not have a realistic chance? I wouldn't be surprised if any of those won it, going to be a cracker

I may add Craigbane to my list after beating Limavady today

Once I saw the teams listed by Derry GAA there was only one winner in Limavady vs Craigbane. Limavady short 3 or 4 key players. Also dubious reasoning as to why the game was brought forward to 2pm

Were they playing soccer?

Ok. Not great, in fairness, to have holidays booked in late August if playing senior club football.

Had decent game yes but Derry is a bit of a stretch.
The lad he was marking probably doesn't start if Swatragh had full team out added to the fact they were miles off the fitness required.

The issue with the good forwards in Steelstown team, Mc Monagle, Mc Carron, Deery is they look really sharp and clinical until someone goes to the limit physically then they tend to go missing a bit. Although tonight was a good starter to settle them in.

I would reserve judgement until he's picked up by Clucky, Forbes, Mulholland, Warnock and players of that calibre.

Decent game? Playing for Derry is a bit of stretch? Lol, wind your neck in

McMonagle should absolutely be in the Derry panel...we lament the dearth of inside forwards yet we've a seriously talented inside forward not involved. Riddle me that

Edit:
Welcome to the board Cahir :)

Are you saying Swatragh put their worst defender on Cahir Mc Monigle?

No issue with North Derry lads sure its half the county, unfortunately at county level they don't pull half their weight.

Delighted to see Limavady and Faughanvale up to try give North or the county a push. Pity their commitment levels didn't manage to keep them there.

Do you honestly think Mc Monagle had a good second half? Really? A good 20min spell warrant a county call up now?
He's a good forward no doubt but he much better than Caolan Devlin or Ryan Mc Nicholl in the first game.
Is he better than Oisin Doherty the night before.
Calm down with the North Derry chip on your shoulder a lets see how he does against the stronger opposition.

I'm saying Swatragh put their fastest defender on Mc Monagle and he was too slow and probably too light. Probably missing best man marker in Sean Francis Quinn and best half back came on half time and clearly wasn't fully fit.
