Donegal people are wondering by how many they will win. A very cocky bunch. Lookong forward to it.
Not sure how letterkenny is allowed to host a championship game. The terraces are gravel banks. Health and safety???

With all due respect, everyone is wondering that

I'm hoping to take my nephew.

Thanks

Did you get sorted out Paul D?

I did thanks. Turned out the county board had plenty spare. Although I might need another Juvenile one for the Aura terrace because I think my nephew's wee friend wants to come too. Not sure if the county board office is open tomorrow

If there is plenty of tickets to spare then it appears that there will not to be many
Down fans planning to travel to letterkenny. I hope not as these lads put in a big effort and deserve good support. I don't think the game itself will play out what most of the experts are expecting....

Best of luck to Down today. Take our chances and go for it lads. Looking forward to it . Hopefully remains dry in letterkenny. Being totaly written off shkuld be the incentive. Nothing to lose.

Best of luck to all the team today. In all years following Down I have never seen us written off for a championship game as much as this one...

Possibly the same game last year

Last hopeful shout out. If anyone knows where I could get a Terrace ticket could they let me know. I'm leaving at 12pm so we need to know whether to take the wee boy with us or not

Thanks

Deserved win. Experts got it wrong...all the this talk about a Donegal and Armagh semi final by mainly armagh and donegal folk. Very little respect given to Down. Looking forward to the semi final in clones...

Hopefully down fans come out next sunday. Very poor most clubs had to return tickets for today.

Well done Down! They were very direct and weren't afraid of taking risks and going for the jugular. Laverty making progress!

I had two for you on Friday - thought you were sorted!

Anyway, what a day for us. Hats off to all involved, that was a special performance. We got a wee bit of luck here and there but that paled compared to the massive effort these lads have put in!

I was surprised to see Mooney start but flip me that man still has plenty to offer! Guinness, Murdock, Doherty, Rooney and others all excellent. Everyone just seemed to click and mistakes were very few.

Those who have questioned Laverty's progress need to come back on here and give their thoughts tonight..

And those 1000's of stay away fans? Let's be having you all back the next day - these lads deserve a red and black roar in Clones.

Would it be wrong to promote this as among the best Down performances of all time?

It's so rare (and pleasant) to have a performance without individual errors.

Don't worry about the stay awayers folks. The craic of going to a championship away match is knowing there'll be plenty of people you know at the match. This was never going to gather legs for a small capacity crowd and strictly controlled ticket distribution, 2.5 hrs away.

Down followers got behind our team last year in numbers. It'll happen again this week.

I don't think I was ever at a Down match league or championship were we were so outnumbered supporter wise.

A tremendous performance from everyone. Great day.

I think the all ireland semi final 1994 v Cork was the most complete 70 mins ive seen as a Down supporter, today wasn't far behind.
