Heard the family bought it quietly - I wonder is that story true?

Also heard a story about how Pomeroy was at capacity for a first round Tyrone championship Ardboe was playing back in his day when a false rumour started that the king had returned to pay for them!

Enjoyed his GAA Social interview a while back.

RIP and condolences to his family and Ardboe and Tyrone GAA.

Listened to that GAA Social interview today.
A great man though a flawed man like us all.
But he was himself - great footballer and a great character.
